UPDATED REVIEW!! Best toothpaste available!
Below is my first review. Now (April 2020) I want to REALLY praise this toothpaste! The pandemic hit and I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to replenish. I had Sensodyne so I started brushing once per day with Sensodyne and onece with FineVine. After a week my jaws aches to the bone!! Serious pain like I had major gum or bone disease. I stopped the Sensodyne and ordered a refill of FineVine. A couple of days later NO PAIN!! If that doesn’t tell you how good this toothpaste is nothing will! I was compelled to post this update because this company deserves a ton of accolades for this product!!! Thank you FineVine!!!Previous review: This stuff is amazing! Gets all the stains in little nooks and crannies white. I have a couple of sensitive spots and had been using brand name for sensitivity and still had some sensitivity. After using this for weeks I have no sensitivity! I’m all in repeat customer. This is my toothpaste!

Meh...okay, but I won’t buy again
I had to laugh at all of the one star reviews where people said they could not squeeze it out of the tube. There must be an awful lot of 98 pound weaklings out there, lol. Interesting that there are a lot of five star and a lot of one star reviews for this product. I found it kind of meh, myself. I have not had any sensitivity issues or other problems with the toothpaste. True, it is thin and watery, the mint taste is very mild, and yes it’s black. Come on people, it’s ‘charcoal’ toothpaste, of course it’s going to be black! I have noticed a little bit of whitening, but nothing like the five star ratings claim. I probably will not buy this product again. Way too expensive.

Convenient
I bought this toothpaste because I originally owned a container of loose charcoal meant to brush with and it was very messy and kind of annoying having to brush with that and then normal toothpaste after so I switched to this and I'm pretty happy with it so far. I drink a lot of tea and coffee so my teeth gradually get stained pretty often until I use strips or something else, which is too expensive, but this paste is super convenient since it contains the charcoal in the paste. Over a few uses you will see results, the only downside is it does taste kind of bad. It's suppose to have a minty taste but it's pretty vague and ends up leaving my mouth with a feeling not as clean as that of a normal mint paste, but it does actually whiten your teeth so I guess it's a small price to pay.

This product gave me crazy tooth and gum ache
This product works surprisingly well to whiten your teeth and it tastes neutral BUT for some reason, this product gave me horrible tooth and gum ache. I am all about natural products and I thought I have finally found a good teeth whitening paste that is natural and far from the poisonous whitening strips. I was wrong though, I don't know what ingredient it is in this product that made my teeth hurt and gum bleed so much. I wanted to try it for a month. During the first week when I used this product, my tooth started to have pain and my gums started to bleed. I stopped using this product for two weeks, and the pain and bleeding was gone. Then, I reintroduced this product, and again, the ache and bleeding gums came back, so then I knew for sure it came from this product. I'd like to know what is it, as all the ingredients look natural but my question is, are they really natural? Is there some allergen that causes me that problem?

No, seriously, this stuff is legit
I tend to buy based on reviews (I read a ton of reviews for this product) and I'm really glad I did. I've never had a teeth whitening product work like this. I've tried just the jar of activated charcoal powder and 1) what a mess and 2) you look like a horror show while brushing. Suffice it to say, it didn't work well. I am naturally skeptical about EVERYTHING and I pray that this toothpaste never gets discontinued because my teeth have never been so white. They weren't necessarily yellow to begin with. They were just like everyone's - naturally yellow-ish but I swear to you, this works. Do you hear me? It WORKS. I use it at night and morning, though in the morning I also use a tiny bit of regular toothpaste to just get the morning breath off my tongue. I'm buying more of this for sure.

Tastes like dirt... literally
I haven't noticed a meaningful difference in the whiteness of my teeth and its been a couple of weeks now. What I did notice immediately was the strong dirt taste. Then I looked at the ingredients and the first one was diatomaceous earth (fossilized remains of an aquatic critter). I'm fine with eating dirt to look good, but I haven't seen much of a difference from this toothpaste. If you want to try charcoal toothpaste anyway, I say try another brand and cross your fingers it at least tastes better. The black saliva splashed all over my sink from using this stuff did teach me how much more thoroughly I need to clean things... I guess that's a plus.

From Yellow to White within 2 Weeks
I drink a lot of coffee and occasionally some tea. I literally quit smiling (showing teeth) years ago because my teeth were so yellow. Half of a front tooth is false and it was even darker than the rest. I noticed a difference within days of using this toothpaste. However, after 2 weeks of use, I'm sold. Now my mother is a dental professor and she warned that charcoal is very abrasive on teeth. Heeding her warning, my plan is to use it for the month and switch back to normal toothpaste. If you want to save a ton of money over the expensive teeth whitening treatments out there, go this route. Just use caution.
