i'm only going 4 stars because complete lack of instructions.but heres the best practices i came up with:* if you use ice from ice trays they will be too big and you'll have some struggles.* its much better to break the ice cubes up. (this will create more surface area and cool the drinks down faster, and colder anyway)* If your drink is room temp, spin for ~45 secs with small (or broken up) ice cubes for the best results.* ~30 secs will be noticeably cooler, but not noticeably "cold"* dont leave the ice between drinks, as the ice blocks the rotator and you'll have to empty it out anyways before each drink, so instead, just place your drink on the rotator, add your small ice bits...rotate for at least 30 seconds (60sec for best results) and then empty the ice. add ice when its time for your next drinkno pics or videos as we can't show the namebrands of our beverages of choice. you should have all the info you need to get your drink frosty though.dont be afraid to spin quickly. the rotation wont shake up the drink and you shouldn't have to worry about carbonation.

I only use this for canned beverages, so I can not say how well it works for bottles. It doesn't work for my bottled water because the bottom of the bottle isn't flat and the suction cup won't grab on, but it should work for glass bottles (beer or soda, not a big wine bottle). For aluminum cans it works great. Just put a little ice in the bottom, attach the suction cup to the can bottom and place the can gently in the box. If you have too much ice the crank mechanism won't go in far enough and you'll have to hold it with one hand while cranking with the other. Don't try to force the crank farther down, you want the crank to float in line with the can, which should be as close to horizontal as possible. If the can is slanted, add or remove ice. The can may not spin well at first, but should smooth out after a few seconds. Again, let the crank float so that the can is close to horizontal. Once the can is spinning well you can add a few more ice cubes on top to speed things up. After about two minutes a can that started out at room temp (65-70F) should be below 40F and cold enough to drink. Or if this doesn't go well, follow the instructions, which are just slightly different from how I do it (instructions say to put ice only on top instead of below and above).
