The three zipped pockets on either side are of size (top to bottom) 4"x7", 7"x10",10"x5" There is also an internal zip pocket 8'X5". And the open pocket is abuot 7"x10" on either side. These dimensions are approximate.

it is water repellant but I wouldn't say waterproof. I think it is intended to wear under a jacket or a sweater.
