Is it weird that this is a 5 star product but I hate it? 🤣🤣🤣 This book has all of the information you need to pass the CTS test so it definitely does the job. BUT, I hate taking tests and having to do this for my job has not been my favorite 😂😂 but it's you need to take the exam, get this book. It will help you a lot!

The best tool to prepare for the CTS, no doubt!

Excited to study up and then later take the exam. Very concise and thorough in nature. The first section explains about AVIXA and then the test and what to expect. I added photos of the actual subject to be covered to help others understand what is in the book. There are tests at the end of each chapter which is helpful to move forward knowing you have a solid understanding. Real world experience is the greatest teacher and I have many years however some areas were weakness' and this study guide will help to pass those sections. Good luck to all in their pursuit of the CTS certification!

Passed my exam and used this book and the CTS courses on Udemy to pass.

The book is easy to read and is very thorough with information for the CTS exam. The only reason why I am giving it four stars is because a lot of the material are in the book isn’t necessarily covered in the exam and they can also do a better job of providing resources like practice exams, more specifically to prepare you because the exam itself is a lot harder Than just reading information in a textbook

This is the current third edition for certification of technology specialist through the Avixa company. It is written in clear and concise language, and you don’t need much prerequisite knowledge to digest. If you do any work, or are thinking about a career path in the A/V field, this is a good supplement to your ongoing education. I am an audio engineer who is looking for a more “essential” career path, and almost every commercial and entertainment venue building needs a CTS for infrastructure design and instillation. IT and A/V are becoming increasingly integrated, this info puts a nice little bow on the union. There are supplemental videos through the company website for additional help.

It helped me to study for CTS and I get it.
