Second hat that I bought. First was in light brown and I used it for all my outdoor activities and trips where extended sun exposure was expected. Received not sunburn where the hat covered my skin and on top of my head. Occasionally I would get red on the front of my neck and chest but that was dependent on the outside conditions. Great price for what you get. It is bright orange for optimal conspicuousness and the material is strong and I am not concerned with the quality of the hat. Travels well and doesn't really deform in luggage or even when wet.

I used this as an HVAC tech. I'm on roofs and outside often and this really saves my neck. It's lightweight and very adjustable. Both the chin cord and a cord that goes around the head.

The neck flap is large enough to cover the back of my neck and the tops of my shoulders so it provides plenty of protection to those areas.

Nice comfortable had. Protects from the sun as promised.

Bought an extra large hat so I could wear my ear muffs UNDER the hat while cutting grass. Thus I am able to utilize my hearing protection and at the same time enjoy the benefits of the sun protection of the hat.

I love this hat with the cover tail. The tail keeps the sun from beaming on my neck when I'm out on patrol. This is the hat for summertime.
