After you open the clasp to adjust the size, you will never get it closed again. I tried pressing hard with the handle of a tool and everything. Returning it. Too bad because I loved the watch.

The watch is beautiful and stylish but the clasp doesn’t stay closed! I’m so disappointed bc it’s hard to find a watch for an 8 inch wrist. I will try to take it to a jeweler to see if anything can be done before I decide to return it. So sad

I took these out of the gift package and saw they were wrapped in plastic, which is nice. There was a spare battery/assembly tool and instructions. Very well done. The watch is lovely. I chose the gold band with the squarish gold timepiece because the others didn't match my ring, though I loved the black and gold the best. I had wanted other styles that, unfortunately, had the rose gold color. How nice to have choices, however! I am so happy that the squarish timepiece looks lovely on my wrist. The watch executed as soon as the time was set and the "pin" was closed. It runs smoothly, with no catches. I like adjustable bends alone for that reason. The others, like stretch and link, are pretty, but I am heavy right now, and it isn't easy to fit into one size. The price is right!I would gift these with no hesitation. You could use the Amazon gift service with a personalized greeting or gift in person, which is always lovely. My family lives too far away, so I have Amazon send it directly.This is a great item for gifting or for yourself! It is a lovely classic watch that might seem "old-timey" to some, but analog watches require little or no maintenance.Enjoy!
