Is this good for bed bugs?

Yes, but it takes a while,i got it for bed bugs too and it took me two or 3 weeks to fix the problem..but it did work..#1 it'll be cheaper than an exterminator & #2 there's no real way to prove they get rid of them all..&it feels good to know for a fact u did it and fixed it..because you did the labor..i use it for other bugs to and that is hard to say it works good and fast.. but i still use it for that too.it just takes a extra while and you might notice only a little difference. Not like wow that worked the best..but it works better on some animals then others.like fleas it might be good for and not for spiders,,etc....but on the worm part, i think i agree to that it helps kill worms..but again in a few weeks time.. but again compare to cost and the time it takes to do other stuff for the Same problem..it balances out..

What's the shelf life?

Asking the shelf life is similar to asking the shelf life of sand. There isn't one. If you mean, the effective life span when used, it depends on how you use it and where. Inside the house, basically until you clean it up or the drafts from human traffic spread it too thin. Outdoors, varies based on weather such as wind or rain. Sunlight doesn't affect it.

Yes the lid closes just fine & it's very easy to open.highly recommend this product as it has so many uses.
