Barking at the Moon (DogPark) Paperback – April 20, 2019

Lorraine has a way of educating as we read a wonderful fun story about her dog families. Very entertaining. Looking forward to the next book.

"Barking at the Moon" was another fun, family oriented addition to the DogPark series. I really enjoyed getting to know the Jackson family better in this book.This book covered the family as they struggled with new, "evil" neighbors, disappointments experienced by their daughter, and an amazing rejuvenation in their oldest son's life. I enjoyed how the family rallied around each other, though, I did think that they should have fought the "evil" that entered their life differently than they did...I was ready for a battle.In the end, it was a heartwarming story. I'm looking forward to the next installment in this series.

Books by this author always make for a good read. She draws verbal portraits of all characters that leave you feeling like they’re all personal acquaintances. Good read. Highly recommended.

Another Great Write!

I read this book right after reading Praying for Rain. I haven't read the author's books in order, but I'm glad I did this time, as I enjoyed the continuity of characters. This book caught my attention from the beginning. I enjoyed reading how the family worked together through twists and turns of life. I do not believe in voodoo, but enjoyed reading about it. Especially enjoyed the twist at the end!

I absolutely love this book. I always thought sorcery was connected to just being in the south, but because of the great research and her incredible journalistic mind Lorraine Rayment proved me wrong and took me on a fantastic journey. It was such a warm home coming to be reunited with all of the familiar characters that live on in all of Rayments books, while some come and go the main family members remain to take us with them through their life journeys. This book is one of my favorites, not only is the ending a surprise the whole book has you sitting on the edge of your seat. My only complaint is that I could not put Barking at the Moon down until I finished reading it then I was sad when this grand adventure ended. If you want to read a book with great family values that stands up with faith to the trials and tribulations presented through sorcery, family struggles etc. Barking at the Moon is it. You won't be disappointed!!

Such a fantastic story! There is just enough suspense, heartache and heart warming events in this book to keep your attention from beginning to end. As usual, I couldn’t put the book down once I began reading until I finished the whole thing. I am ordering the next book in the series right now!!

This book is another in the Dog Park series.I enjoyed the storyline as the families and dogs continue on with their lives and always interesting and entertaining adventures.A few turns in this one that makes you want to keep reading to see what happens next.This is another great read by LorrainePat AndersenPat Andersen
