Hilph Foot Ice Pack Cooling Sock for Plantar Fasciitis & Neuropathy Relief

I’ve been getting badly swollen feet and these compression/ice gel socks are amazing! So soothing, stays cold for longer than normal gel packs, fits a size 5-6 shoe size, Wish I’d bought 2 now but definitely value for money

I bought these for peripheral neuropathy - burning feet. I keep them in the vegetable drawer in my fridge ( in the plastic envelope enclosed for the purpose.) They get very cold and are great for a quick fix, but because my feet get very hot they do not stay cold very long. They're quite heavy but relatively easy to put on. Were they worth the price? I would say yes, because of the instant relief they provide.

TOO cold! I obviously appreciate that the idea is to provide cold compression to as much of the foot/ankle as possible, but the fact that the entire foot (AND a generous ankle section) is completely enclosed in what becomes an incredibly cold and heavy sock is actually just a little TOO uncomfortable to bear. The quality of the sock and elasticated/velcro fastening is great; the gel substance is clearly very effective at retaining cold - but for me, it was just that bit too mindblowingly cold to be able to keep my foot inside! I am now using them more as ice packs, wrapped around the heel/ankle/arch, and giving the toes and part of the top of the foot an escape from the extreme cold; not what the product is intended for, but having bought it (and clearly being unable to return something I've used) I'd rather get SOME use out of it! I think the bottom line is - if you have an extreme, acute and long-term need to keep your foot cold it's brilliant; if you need more of an ice pack to act on a temporary injury/swollen foot, maybe consider something slightly less 'industrial?!!!

So disappointed with these. They dyed my feet and toe nails black. The dye transferred onto my beautiful cream sofa

I've suffered with tendonitis for years, I have a gel pack but half the time the pain is in a part of my foot that requires the pack to be held and usually it's too cold for direct skin contact so I'm juggling cloths to try to maintain a constant cooling. These socks just slip straight on and, even directly from the freezer, they are ok to put straight against bare skin. They also act as a cushion so it's like walking with a memory foam insoles. The velcro strap ensures the sock stays in place even when moving around or even when wearing in bed.

Product is cold (as other reviews say it only stays cold for 20 or so minutes but that's for safety reasons) but after two uses it has leaked through the containing fabric (no holes or tears). I assume this is because you shouldn't walk in them??? But nowhere in the instruction manual does it say that. Floor is now covered in goo that I need to figure out how to get off 🙃 Would love to talk about getting a replacement under warranty (bought two days ago) but can't find any contact details or even a website....

I sprained my foot when I fell, yes my foot not my ankle but side of foot because my foot went sideways when I fell. I used it only for the Ice pack part. Because the sprain was on the outside it was hard to put an ice pack on it without it falling off and uncomfortable if I tried to sit with my foot sideways. This is perfect as it is easy to wear and covers all of your foot. Suggest that you follow directions exactly for maximum comfort. I highly recommend this product.

My husband and daughter both said it helped with swollen ankle and it felt nice. Only comes with 1 sock - wish they came with 2

I purchased this ice sock as an alternative for an ice pack for my ankle surgery. I like that you can velcro it on and it stays in place as ice packs usually do not. I wear a size 7.5 shoe and it fits well and covers my ankle. A larger foot it may not cover your ankle and/or fit comfortably. It is convenient to use and chills quickly in the freezer. The reason for not giving it a 5 star rating is because it only stays cold for about 15 minutes. I do like the product and would recommend it.

Deceptive product, only comes with a single sock, the only time I've ever seen a sock sold individually, besides that works great, very nice and cold around the feet, would've given 5 stars and been recommending it to everyone if it came with a second sock.
