Nose Art: 80 Years of Aviation Artwork

I bought this book as a gift for someone else as I already have a copy of my own. I enjoyed mine so much that I knew he would as well, and sure enough he was thrilled with it.

More photos than text. That's a good thing. It boldly included many photos of female nude or semi-nude art work. Including Vargas Girls.

I have been a airplane buff for 47 years and this is a great book for entertainment.. Great photos and good stories about the planes and history of nose art.. This would be a great one to buy..

This is another fine compilation of photos and information about nose art on military aircraft, especially from the World War II timeframe. J.P. Wood did an excellent job putting this volume together!

Purchased a used edition through amazon. Book has a plain dark blue stealth cover but its inside if chock full of color pictures with additional written details. A great conversation piece!

Unfortunately all the nose art in the book have been published and you could find the same pictures in the web. Anyway it's well written and all the pictures are clear and in color.
