Best monitor I've had
Fantastic monitor overall, good connectivity 3 rooms away with no signal loss, has quite good night vision and sound quality. You can pan all directions and zoom. perfect for when she's not in the crib but playing in the room. The only issue I've run into is sometimes the temperature bugs out and says a much lower temperature, simply unplugged the cam from power and it corrects the issue.

Great Video!
I recently purchased the Momcozy Video Baby Monitor for my daughter and new grandson, and it has been a fantastic addition to their home for several reasons:1. Crystal Clear Video Quality: The 5.5-inch 1080P Full HD screen provides sharp and clear video, making it easy to keep an eye on the baby. The high-resolution display ensures that every detail is visible, whether it's day or night.2. Reliable Connection: Unlike WiFi-based monitors, this model operates without the internet, providing a secure and interference-free connection. This gives me peace of mind knowing that the monitor is always reliable and doesn't depend on their home network.3. Long Battery Life: The monitor comes with a 5800mAh battery that lasts up to 120 hours in ECO mode. This long battery life means fewer recharges and consistent monitoring throughout the day and night.4. Infrared Night Vision: The infrared night vision feature is excellent for keeping an eye on our newest addition, even in complete darkness. The video remains clear and detailed, allowing them to monitor that sweet squishy one without disturbing his sleep.5. Two-Way Audio: The two-way audio feature allows them to talk to him through the monitor. It's a great way to soothe the baby remotely or communicate with anyone in the baby's room.6. Wide Range and Coverage: The monitor has a range of up to 1640 feet, making it perfect for large homes or if you step outside to weed the flower bed while you have a few minutes. She can move around the house freely while still keeping an eye on the most precious thing I have ever seen. (Can you tell it's my first grandchild?)7. Easy Setup and Use: Setting up the monitor was straightforward, and the user-friendly interface makes it easy to navigate and use. The monitor is ready to go right out of the box, which is a big plus.Overall, the Momcozy Video Baby Monitor has proven to be a reliable, effective, easy-to-use tool for monitoring the baby. Its combination of high-quality video, long battery life, and user-friendly features make it an excellent choice for any parent or caregiver. I highly recommend it if you have a sweet squishy of your own. :)

Did they test it with people with kids?
This is a confusing piece of kit. The build feels good, the cameras look cute and move silently; they have a standard tripod mount at the bottom, I used Dr Care's stand and a small selfie tripod to position the camera around the house as needed. The monitor battery lasts several days (if you switch it on to check on the baby occasionally).Range is OK, the monitor handles most of a small two-story house. It all falls apart in firmware to a point where I think Momcozy ships these from the factory overseas and never tested it with customers or even looked at it themselves.Screen brightness is just dumb. The adjustment barely makes the difference and on its lowest setting, the monitor is way too bright for the night. There is no auto-dim function either but with the stupid brightness level, we just keep it at minimum around the clock.By default, the monitor randomly lights the screen on its own. With its stupid brightness, it was a living hell until I figured out that it was the VOX function that was doing that. Turning it off solves the issue. Why would someone need that is beyond me.Sound and temperature alerts are useless because how camera sensors are calibrated (they are not).A slightest draft from the AC trips it both ways (Too hot! Too cold!) even with the camera sitting on the other side of the room from the vent. The sound sensor calibration is just a joke. It picks up steps on a thick carpet from across the room and trips the alarm set to the lowest sensor.Momcozy, what are you doing? Stop, get some help. The last thing that concerns me is that this set looks identical to all other cheap(ish) monitors on the market. They all have exactly the same set of sensors and lights, face very similar criticism, have the same features in boxes of slightly different shapes. And one of these monitor brands has been recalled for being a fire hazard. It looks like all these are built at the same factory with the same components. Since one brand was recalled, there is a good chance others are exposed too. I keep a close eye on mine and never charge it where it can spread fire.
