What a Great Watch at a Great Price
This is such a fantastic watch that emulates the speedmaster pretty decently. If I had a major complaint its the bracelet. Its great that its screw down adjustments; however the edges are on the sharp side and it feels not as good as a bracelet from say... Phoibos or San Martin, but it also at a much lower price. The movement performs as expected, and the fit is quite nice. The case looks attractive and the cuts for the crown and pushers are very well done. The lugs are also attractive and I have a Navy Chromexcel strap on the way for it. The curved/boxed sapphire crystal is really attractive as well.

Incredibly nice homage timepiece for the price point.
Beautiful watch. Attention to detail is excellent on this Omega Speedy homage watch. The smaller diameter of this Watchdives 1863 makes for a more comfortable wearing watch in my opinion. The sapphire crystal, the screw down crown and screw down cashback make this watch an everyday wearable timepiece. The mecaquartz movement is very accurate and reliable. What a beautiful timepiece especially in the white face variation. Very pleased with this purchase.

One of the best Moonwatch Homages (at any price).
Moonwatch homages and reissues are all over the place currently. If you have a spare 7000-8000 USD, you can opt for an Omega Speedmaster CK2998 - as close to the real thing as you can likely get. But, there are other choices. There's the Moonswatch, one of the Seiko X Prospex, and the Bulova A-15 Pilot Archive is actually a reissue of a watch worn on the Moon. Those are under the 700 USD mark. Yet, if you are looking for an A-11 Moonwatch homage that won't require a second mortgage - Watch Dives' WD1860/1861 version is one of the top two in my opinion. The other being the Pagani Design 1701 V6 Black (considered by many as the best Homage watch). Both are very similar in look, good approximations to the original Omega, and both are in the ~100 USD range with the Watchdives cost just a few more dollars right now. Both use the Seiko VK63 Quartz movement - which is a solid and accurate movement that looks nearly identical to the CK2998 (Although with slightly different subdial functions and the "24 hour" subdial on the Seiko is a little much). Both have great fit and reasonable finish - however, after handling a couple of each, the finish on the Watchdives is slightly better. It just feels like a better watch - despite being nearly identical in parts. This is mainly evident in the metal bands - the Pagani feels a little sharp on the edges while the Watchdives is smooth. If I was forced to choose which was better between the two - considering only the black dial versions - the Watchdives has the edge. That said, currently you will pay a few more dollars for the Watchdives feel that - well, you might not even feel. It's a tough choice. Maybe you should buy both.

Good value for money.
Good value for money. Great VK63 movement, works as expected. The dial and case are adequate, and better than average for the price; clean printed indices, decent hands, and good polishing on the steel case. The bracelet which typically comes in for praise is overrated. Feels light, not solid milled. On the positive side the links are all individual, and adjustments are made with screws, not pins. The upgrade to a San Martin is likely worth it, of you can swing the cost differences.

Awesome watch!
A very high quality and great looking watch. Time keeping is perfect for first 5 days. Put on a leather band, total weight is now 70 grams, very easy to wear. The blue is more of a slate blue. This is a total high class unit with the dark brown leather, love it!

Well Done !!!
I have owned several authentic Speedmasters from a 1969 Pre Moon, to now, a current reference. I am completely blown away by the build quality of this watch. I don't want to describe it as "good for the money". That would imply that it kinda sucks but It's good enough because it was cheap. Nothing could be further from the truth. Of course it is not an Omega, and I don't believe it's trying to be one either. There are many differences that I believe were intentional, that set it apart as more than just a copy. I bought the black dial with the orange hands. It is in my opinion, a fantastic tribute to the original 'Ultraman" speedy. Well done Watchdives !!

wanted to love this one - but was a hard fail
This watch gets so much praise online about how wonderful the quality is. And I am personally a big fan of watchdives as a brand. However this is the first model I have been seriously let down on. There are definitely signs of high quality here, but the bottom of the caseback is very sharp. I didn't notice it while wearing but one you feel it with your fingers it's hard to ignore. The size is also very small. I don't think I have massive arms or wrists. But at 8" these things look dainty on me. I would say these are meant for 7" inch wrists or smaller. The bracelet while really nice looking, is also a massive let down. It's got sharp squared off edges and pinched my wrist and hairs alot. I tied it with a different rubber/fkm strap and it was much more comfortable. I normally do not care or are bothered by bracelets at all, so for this to feel so uncomfortable says alot.
