BEST KIT EVER. READ THIS REVIEW!
I'm a former EMT, wife of a LEO, a mother of 4, and Director of HR. I mention this because first aid and safety is a second nature, daily component of every aspect of my life, every day. I had been doing a poor job piecing together a medical bag of my own; it's a lot to stay on top of. Situations change, resources get used, you forget to replenish your stock, medication expires, you really don't ever think of something you REALLY need, until you don't have it. THIS KIT HAS IT ALL. I have this bag with me AT ALL TIMES. As a former EMT, I'm still in the habit of stopping if I see a car accident, or someone is in distress at the store (if first responders are not already on scene). The very first week I owned this, a coach took a line drive to the face at the baseball field, and I was right there, readily available, gloved up, cleaned the wound, minimized the bleed, applied ointment and butterfly bandages, cracked open that ice pack, and gave him some Tylenol (from my purse) for the headache he was bound to end up with. After the game, he went to Urgent Care to get checked out... they said if it hadn't been immediately treating and bandaged, he would have required stitches. This kit very literally saved this guy from needles in his face. The ONLY things I've added to it, is Benadryl, and that's because I'M super allergic to bee stings, and my pen light for checking pupils. The whistle and compass, some may think are silly, but any Boy Scout knows that you WILL need this while camping at some point (if not for your own direction, but to track incoming storm clouds). I highly recommended leaving this kit intact and not taking out the things you think you won't use... you WILL use everything in here. Alex, the co-found of Protect Life, had reached out to me via email, and included a colorful, simple, first aid primary care e-guide. I have this printed out at home, for my kids reference in the event I'm not home, and with our safety training information at work. Seriously superb job putting this together! I can't say enough good things about it. It's everything you need, and in my opinion, worth much more than the price. Don't forget to restock as you use supplies! Stay safe and be well. Huge thanks to all of our first responders!! You are appreciated!!

Nice for camping or at home or in your car
This was one of the best things I got from Amazon. I leave it in my car. Just in case

Too many unnecessary things
Purchased this while going to kids summer camp as a leader. Was a little disappointed of what was inside. I should’ve read what’s inside before buying it. Too many unnecessary things and not many what is really needed in a first aid kits I purchased before.

Good starter first aid kit
It's probably one of the better first aid kits in that price category. The bag is nice (though a bit smaller than expected), the tiny pocket size bag is good for day trips - and the main reason I decided for that kit. I guess the kit has all the needed basics (though no medications). What I don't like is that there is a ridiculous abundance of small adhesive bandages - but for example only one PBT Bandage and one larger pad and nothing against burns. That might be not enough if something serious happens. The small bandages and pads are badly (tiny or not at all) labeled, similar in form and color, and basically thrown together, so that finding the right one in a possibly stressful situation might be pretty challenging. Also the kit does not come with a first aid guide, or even a list of parts, or expiration dates that I could see. So overall the kit is a good start - but some efforts are needed to fill the missing parts.

Seems like it will be useful to have on hand
After one of my kids got a bad scraped knee at a playground and I had nothing to clean it/bandage it with, I realized that I should have a first aid kit in my car. We also go hiking/camping occasionally, so it seemed smart to get a heavy duty one. I like that everything has a place but is easy to locate. My only complaint is that there are no medicines included (but I knew that from the description, so I'm not holding that against the company!) so I took another buyer's suggestion and purchased individual packs of tylenol and benadryl to put in there, and had plenty of room to stick them in. I also grabbed a few hand crank flashlights, since the glow stick is only one use - I'll feel better having them in there for emergencies. Overall a great purchase, and I'm hoping I almost never have to use it!
