Dolphin Automotive Van Rear Brake Light Reversing Camera For Fiat Ducato 2006 – Onwards

If you don't want to drill holes in the bodywork, this is a great way to add a camera. If you've access to the rear of the center brake light this is an easy fit. If you don't like mine, you need to find a way to mod the screw fixings as on my 2019 motorhome, the original light fixings were on extended pillars that need to be removed. I used clinch nuts to replace these and allow the new unit to be screwed in place. This sounds hard but its not when you remove the original!

I like the sleek looks of this reversing camera much better than the external camera it replaces. I had to cut the connectors off and replace with bullet type as it did not fit my Citroen Relay 2105 reversing light harness. The guide lines are not that effective as they only cover about 1.5 metres behind the van instead of the expected 4 - 5 metres and it's not the best going from the sun into the shade as sudden light changes seem to confuse the sensor with loss of contrast. This does function as a brake light/ reversing camera, but it’s compatible with the stated model of Fiat Ducato only in the sense that it will physically fit the body shell cut out above the rear doors. After you’ve removed the stand offs for the OE brake light screws and devised some mountings of your own (good luck with the included hardware…) And also modified the vehicle loom, or bought/ made an adapter, because the connector doesn’t fit the OE brake light wire plug. The light lens isn’t sealed and doesn’t fit snugly with the light housing on my example, so I doubt it’ll be sufficiently waterproof in the long term but we’ll see. Rather a lazy effort from the manufacturer/ distributor, who must be aware of the product’s obvious compatibility issues.

I'm very pleased I bought this. I couple it up to a cheap LCD monitor in my cab and the image is very clear. Makes reversing my van a much safer business, especially if you don't have a banks man.

Had to send it back, didn't fit a 2018 boxer van. Also the brake light lead plug was incompatible with the vehicle wiring.

molto curato, addirittura è arrivato con guarnizione da applicare sulla base della lampada. si vede molto bene e per ora funziona egregiamente su una autoradio erisin 2 din. cavi di dotazione molto lunghi e comodi da far passare con i cablaggi originali

Prodotto robusto e funzionale Si sostituisce al terzo stop originale. Nel mio caso su un camper furgonato il kit di fissaggio non è servito a niente...ho dovuto adattare i bulloni femmina
