i have 3 chinchillas and i wanted to try these for them due to the regular hay does make me allergic.. are these dust free?

These are dust free. Very easy to handle.

How are these bound together? Do you use adhesive or sap?

Are these as large and as firm as kaytees version?

I have yet to find cubes as firm as the Kaytee cubes. The SPS cubes actually look more like compressed Timothy Hay, smell great (to me), are smaller in piece size and fall apart easily. Even with the alfalfa hay in the KayTee cubes I continue to offer them and sticks for dental maintenance. Although the Buns go bonkers for the Small Pet Select ‘Crack Cereal’ Timothy Hay pellet food they are not interested in the SPS Timothy Hay cubes.
