2 years later
I ran these lights in my under cabinet lighting. Installed them about 2 years ago. A few of them have started to blink intermittently for some reason.

Good value at less than 10 cents per month.
I purchased six of these bulbs in 2019 for ~$13 (they are less now), and I'm happy with the price and quality of the product. I use them in three under-counter lights in my kitchen, and they are on 7-8 hours per day, seven days per week. So, I am pleased that the two I have replaced so far lasted 24 months and 26 months. The other one is still going strong. If I did the math correctly, they are costing me less than 10 cents per month to replace, or about $2 every two years. Of course, they are cheaper to operate than conventional bulbs and they generate very little heat. 3/13/22 Update - The third bulb of six lasted 35 months. The other three are currently installed and we'll see how long they last. I re-ordered another six. 1/14/23 Update - A 4th bulb needed to be replaced, but it lasted just two weeks under two years, so the average life of four bulbs so far is just over 27 months with heavy usage. This means they are costing me about 8 cents per month to replace.

Warm white is perfect. Pins not so much.
The pins needed to be trimmed about 1/16th inch or so to slip into the existing socket. Color warm is great looks just like the old fashion halogen bulbs I replaced.

my mistake
was buying led lights for a fixture that only accepts halogen bulbs! these even worked for a while but would flicker and pop out. I blame it on me not knowing my fixtures were not compatible. I gave four stars as i cannot speak to longevity.

Base is a little thicker than G8 Halogen Bulb and may not fit narrow light bulb sockets
This is the second time we ordered these bulbs. The first time we retrofitted all of our under kitchen cabinet halogen bulbs to these LEB bulbs. They are awesome for this purpose! Much lower energy usage, cool to the touch, and same light as the halogen bulbs. This order was to replace our under microwave halogen lights. The microwave is over our stove and provides both a night light function and a cooktop surface light. The G8 pin alignment was perfect however because the base is round they do not fully fit into the sockets of the original halogen bulbs they replaced. They work fine on both bright and dim but are not fully seated into the socket. We have not tried it but the LED bulb material is like a soft clear silicone like substance. If a tighter fit was required it could probably be shaved down a little with razor blade or the like and not hurt the inside electronics to fit closer within the socket.

It’s Lit
These nicely priced led lights were the perfect replacement for my brothers under cabinet lights in his kitchen condo. He had standard bulbs that were hot to the touch. A local Lowes had a similar item for three times the price of these lights. They were returned as these put a soft glow and never got hot.. Kinda sad to be so happy over a bulb, but hey, you’ll be glad you bought these.

weird but effective
These bizarre little bulbs are set into a solid thick plastic. Really freaked me out at first but they seem to work fine.

Works, some modifications may be required
These lights work as they're supposed to. The outside material is a soft silicone which worked out perfectly in my case. I have a Samsung microwave and the female connector in the unit used bulbs of the same type, but the glass on the OEM bulbs was rectangular in shape to fit into the connector. These bulbs did not have long enough leads to fit and even if they did, it would not have been a safe way to keep them plugged in. Since it is soft silicone, I was able to cut away the silicon (still leaving some covering the electronics on the bulb) enough to have it fit like the OEM bulb did while also being snug in the connector. This was all done by eyeing how much I needed to cut and using a pairing knife so it wasn't something that required much skill to do. I plan on buying these again, should I run out of my existing supply.
