Comfortable
These barefoot sock shoes are surprisingly comfortable! They really do feel like walking barefoot but with the extra grip and protection of the rubber sole. I like how lightweight and foldable they are—I can throw them in my bag or even a pocket when I’m not wearing them. The material is stretchy and breathable, so they fit snugly like socks without feeling too tight. I’ve used them for quick workouts, walking outside, and even just around the house, and they’ve been great in every situation. The non-slip sole makes me feel secure, and I love that my feet can move naturally. Overall, they’re a great value if you’re looking for minimalist shoes that are easy to carry and super comfortable. Definitely recommend!

Best thing I never knew I needed
So I bought these for archery hunting so I can spot and stalk big game. I hunt the rugged maintains NV and they are covered in sharp rocks and cactus of all kinds. I have always stalked In wool socks but after I saw these I figured it’s worth the risk. Well they exceeded any hopes I had for them I can feel everything under my feet but not have any of the pain so I can walk smart and not step and make noise. These things are so tough that that I can run through the mountains and even though I feel the rocks cactus sticks etc without any worry at all. These are a game changer for sure. Light weight, easily packable, very good grip, they fit perfect, and breath very well. I have two pair and will gift them to my hunting partners as well.

Better slightly less expensive Bullyants with a full cuffed ankle.
I bought Bullyants as well, prior, but got these in a smaller size. Since these were less expensive. They use the EU sizing inside. Which I think more places need to adopt the EU sizing, since it's unisex, and standardized. Where American sizes are sex based, and not standardized. As for fit, less spacious than the Bullyant, but again, I got a Men's 10 in that one, and I got a men's 9 in this one. So makes sense, which tells me that the bullyant and this are probably similarly sized. As for differences, this sole feels less thick than Bully's, like 3/16th vs 1/4th of an inch, respectively. Other than that I prefer the FULL CUFF nature of these over the "lipped" nature of the Bullyants. Like they have extra material on the "tongue" and then extra material that rides past the calcaneus/heel-bone, and like half an inch onto the ankle. This is like an inch of proper cuffs. WHICH, for me is extremely important, while it won't replace an ankle brace when my prior sprain decides to rear its ugly head again, this will at least put pressure on it. Like the Bullyant, these have such a reassuring "CLAMPING FORCE", it's such a great feel, tighter than a sock but not constricting, which is more important for me, since I have a 4E 9.5 Men's foot, extra wide. And that clamping force as I stated earlier really makes the ankle feel more secure. Hey look, no branding. Thanks Luswin... Now I get it, everything becomes advertisement. This ain't new, shoes have been slapping their logo prominently on their products forever it seems. BUT, Chinese companies don't usually feel the need for that. SO it was annoying to see the whole top part of Bullyant's footware be dedicated to their name and logo. These have NO GAUDY BRANDING on them. Conclusion: Compared to Bullyant, I'd save 5 or so dollars and get these. Material quality seems the same. Sole grip strength is the same. Soles on the Luswin (these) do feel ever so slightly thinner. But the thick rubber is applied identically to the bullyant's. THOUGH what I loved about these were, they actually had LIGHT COLOR OPTIONS, well OPTION, this one. Which for me is important, since I live on the Mississippi Gulf Coast right by the beach. So, the sun can get intense, but since these are built identical to Bullyants', means sand will get in between the knitting. I've started wearing neoprene socks with these if I want to wear them in water or walk on the sand with my dogs. Do I recommend them? 100%, discovering these socks since I can't, and tried, do the Five Finger Virbrams, they're annoying to put on, I have stubby toes, so they never fully go into the "finger" sleeves, and when I walked the beachfront in socks with my dogs, I never felt better, and my feet didn't ache at all, thus causing me to hit amazon and hunt down a durable and purpose built solution. In comes Bullyant and Luswin. If you have messed up feet due to high arches and other issues, try these out, for $20, not that much of a risk. Did 4hr of intense yard work with them, no pain. Save for my back, nearly an acre of leaves needed to be raked. I tried mulching them with my push, but that also took 5hrs to do 1/3 of my front part of my residential home. Every last time I tried doing 4hrs in any shoes, so many shoes, $2,000 spent on insoles alone, any insole innovation you can think of I've tried. Same with shoes. I can't do laces, and most lace alternatives (like bungees) also hurt since my high arch causes limited space internally. WHERE THIS hasn't any of those issues, no lace, no pressure hotspots.

Excellent Value Sock/Shoe
I was looking for a sock/shoe that would be comfortable while going through an airport and for flying. Due to the look of this sock/shoe it is possible to not have to take these off at TSA security check-points, because these really aren't a shoe, just a reinforced sock. The material is very sock-like, with a rubberized sole, which makes it comfortable, and easy to pack, taking very little space at all. The sock/shoe is warm and the material is perfect for indoor wearing. I haven't tried it outside yet, but I will soon. Overall, this is a high quality sock/shoe with an excellent price!

Good Grip, Enough Room for Wide Feet
Great grip initially. I think if the use is intentional (ie. Wearing to airport, to sports practice, only gym, not everyday street wear) then these will last a good while. Perspiration/sweat in these will occur so keep some antibacterial spray nearby bc I can foresee them getting FAUNKY 👃🧪. Maybe order a size up and wear w/ socks. Also Anticipating they will hopefully stretch out a bit as I wear them bc transitioning to all barefoot shoewear and they are a little constricting around the bunions. Overall they’re cool. Not a risky economical decision even if they crap out in a month. Update: size up like 1 full size

Great Shoes DESPITE Some NOTABLE Shortcomings
UPDATE 5.10.26: I've ordered another pair, so I have four pairs in total, two of the green version, which seems to be the one most likely to be manufactured well. I mostly wanted to update about the soles/bottoms of these, because they degrade and break down very quickly. I thought the rapid pace was largely due to the fact that I intentionally walk on rocks, wood chips, sticks, etc as much as possible for foot health and self care. But I do have two "indoor use only" pairs and, despite only walking on carpeting and linoleum in them, the bottoms are wearing quite thin. The gripping texture molded into the rubber is mostly worn flat around the high contact points and the rubber feels noticeably thinner there. I have figured out a solution for this that prevents having to regularly replace these shoes. By using vulcanized cement to apply rubber tire repair patches to the bottom, I have a means of making the bottoms of these sock shoes incredibly durable. I'm not sure what the deal is with the rubber used to manufacture these and why it degrades so easily. Like, is this a bug or is it a feature to get us to purchase new ones more often? I don't know. What I do know is that the rubber used for these tire repair patches is rugged AF. Even on the shoes that have both been tire-patched the longest and are the ones I wear most frequently, the tire patch rubber looks untouched in the sense that there are no chunks missing, no divots... really, they're barely even marked up. If I gave the shoes a thorough washing and let them dry, I could probably convince people that I had just applied the patches to the shoes. I'm still very dedicated to sock shoes and have been wearing them exclusively for over a year now and my body thanks me for it every day. The key is to get plenty of steps and to get them on surfaces that are not flat and/or excessively hard/dense (namely, try to avoid using sidewalks and sidewalk-like surfaces). UPDATE 7.4.25: Despite my complaint I ordered two more of these. So I have three different colors now. The first pair was the maroon version. Those are way more deformed than the two new pairs that I bought, green and black. These still came in deformed, but the upwards curl is not nearly as intense. Also, the tissue paper was not adhered to the rubber of the shoe. I suspect the maroon pair was packaged at a hotter temperature than the other colors I have were. Still disappointing though because it causes a mild toe rub on my longest toe on my right foot and it is annoying. I mostly wanted to update the old review to correct what I said about the different brands of these shoes being exactly the same. That it not accurate. They are incredibly similar, but there are some small differences. In comparison to Joomra, these have more rubber on the top of the shoe and the heel rubber comes up a little higher. While it isn't a huge difference, the Luswin does offer a bit more protection for the foot that the Joomra does. Also, I can't tell if the sole is thicker on the Joomra or if the material used is a different type or density, but these are not as thick or as cushioned as the Joomras. Once again, it is not a huge difference, but it is observable. The toe box of the Luswin is wider than the toe box of the Joomra, enough so that this might make a difference for people with wide feet. And the ankle opening of the Luswin is much more snug than the Joomra and thus more likely to keep out debris if you are like me and walk on natural surfaces as much as possible. Overall I would say the Luswin seems slightly superior to the Joomra... that is, I would say it, but I can't because of the fact that they are packaged in a way that deforms them and makes them uncomfortable. ORIGINAL REVIEW: This is not my first pair of these sock shoes. I think they are great ultra-minimalist shoes that, from my experience, allow the feet to function in a way that is much more aligned with their bio-mechanics than barefoot shoes that resemble and are modeled after traditional non-barefoot/minimalist footwear. I ordered this pair because I already knew that I liked these shoes. I've seen at least four different brands for these shoes on Amazon. Beyond some minor aesthetic differences, these shoes all appear to be the exact same thing, just with different branding. The pair I owned prior to these are branded as both Joomra and Whitin. I recently ordered a pair of these for my girlfriend, and this pair was sold under the brand "Sports" (that's what the shoe says anyway); again, they are exactly the same as the Joomra/Whitin's I already owned aside from some minor aesthetic differences. I bring this up to point out that the Joomra/Whitin's and the Sports' versions version were packaged in a way that made sense: they were stacked one on top of the other and bound in plastic. The bind was tight enough to keep them together but not so tight as to smash or otherwise deform the shoes. Unfortunately, the Luswin version of this shoe is packaged differently. The Luswin's I received were rolled into a ball from toe to heel, wrapped in tissue paper and crammed into a box. Upon removing the shoes from the box, I discovered that the tissue paper had adhered to the rubber part of the shoe (i.e. probably 70% or so of the shoe) and had to spend five or ten minutes trying to get all of that off... "trying" being the key word because I still haven't managed to get all of the tissue paper off yet. Even more annoying is the fact that they arrived rolled up and deformed. The deformed shape has set into the shoe pretty solidly, and I have no clue how long I'll have to wear these before they reform to their normal shape (assuming they are able to do so). In the meantime, when I wear them I can feel the tension in my feet from the shoe wanting to curl up on itself. Not only is this bothersome, but it is antithetical to the purpose of barefoot shoes. These shoes need to be packaged differently. I'm not sure what the purpose of the box and tissue paper is. Perhaps I'm wrong, but I have to imagine it is cheaper to package these with a bit of thin plastic wrapped around them than it is to package them in a cardboard box with useless, hassle-inducing tissue paper wrapped around them.

Meh these were OK nothing remarkable.
These barefoot sock shoes are lightweight, flexible, and comfortable for short use. They pack easily, making them great for travel, yoga, or walking on the beach. I like the minimalist feel and how easy they are to slip on. They seem to run a bit small I'd recommend ordering a size up. Overall, decent for the price if you know what to expect, but not a replacement for real barefoot trainers or athletic shoes.

A half a size makes a difference
Overall the shoes seem sturdy enough, but they sent me a half size too small (45) and I ordered a 45.5-46. In the selection the 45 couldn’t be selected, but they sent it anyway. The half size makes a big difference because they are very tight. I have to send them back for the correct size to give a proper review.
