Excellent Screen
The metal mesh of this splatter screen is dense and unlike so many other screens, oil will not splash through any of the minuscule holes of this mesh screen. The size is excellent as well and it will easily cover and protect any size pan at or under 13”. I also like that the handle folds down. That makes it much easier to store in a cabinet.The very first time I used it, the mesh on one side scorched a little due to exposure to high heat, close to an open flame, as the screen was wider than the pan ones using and I had it in high heat. Some flames flated up along one side and scorched the mesh before I noticed it. It is now permanently marred. However, the scorch area is intact and the incident did not affect the functionality of the screen, just the appearance. My mistake so I’m not deducting stars for that.All in all I am very pleased with this splatter screen. Its quality and features makes it worth its price.

Does the job
It's easy to fritter away money buying odds and ends on Amazon. Before I click, "Complete Order," I always ask myself, "Will this piece of junk from China make my life better?" In this case, yes! Other reviewers complained about the screen discoloring. Yes, the screen will discolor where it hangs over the edge. I don't care about that at all. It keeps my stove much cleaner, washes up in the dishwasher, and the foldaway handle is a plus. Less time spent cleaning, A+.

Highly recommend it.
Normally, I start frying something, it starts to splatter, I belatedly remember about this screen, grab it, and the splattering is contained. If you've had large droplets of scolding hot grease land on your skin, especially the face, or on your clothes, you'll know the value of having one of these. Highly recommend it.

Love the Folding Handle, Great Quality
Just got this today and I already love it. The quality is very good and the folding handle will make storing it much better than my old screen.

This splatter shield works great and is very easy to clean. Nice size for my larger pans.

Totally unrelated use
My wife wants to smoke salt. I needed something I could put in my smoker which had no parts that would melt. The handle is removable, fine mesh, overall construction appears to be strong. The legs actually allows me to rest the screen in the smoker and remove the handle is necessary. I haven't tested it yet but expect good results. I will followup after testing.

This seems to be made failrly sturdy but the handle is wonky to unlock!

mesh screen stains easily
This is actually too big for most of my skillets. It can be used on smaller skillets but it's not the best. The mesh became stained after just a few uses. I'll continue to use it but will also continue to look for something that meets my needs better.
