I had neglected to keep up with my additives. One bottle later my gas mileage went up dramatically. The throttle was also more responsive. I use it once every three months. The product probably pays for itself in gas savings in this time.

Trying to reduce carbon deposits on gasoline direct fuel injection valves.
I'm experimenting with this less expensive product and using it as a fuel additive to try to reduce carbon buildup on the upstream [or back-sides] of gasoline direct injection engine valves. Adding it during my gas station stops hasn't hurt engine performance and the use of the product appears to have improved gasoline mileage by at least1-2 mpg in my 2014 Hyundai Elantra. I have not physically inspected the valves. And the descriptions on this product's label do not address or claim efficacy in removing DFI valve carbon deposits. Other Sea Foam fuel additives do make claims that their use reduces carbon deposits. This Sea Foam product label says to "Use every fill up for best performance". I am aware of some competitive products that are recommended for use every 1000 miles or 5000 miles. I don't know if these recommended limited application rates for the other products are based on improving usage cost effectiveness or on avoiding potential engine damage. But, I suspect the addition frequency directions for these competitive products are intended to provide adequate control the indicated fuel quality and engine problems in a cost effective manner. I would follow label directions and only use what you need to maintain performance -> improved miles per gallon.

Smooths a rough idling 8.1L big block V8!
I bought a new boat in December of 2021, came equipped with an 8.1L Chevy V8 with around 300 hours on it. Being I purchased during the cold season, it sat over winter and upon starting it up on the hose in spring I noticed it was idling rough and hesitating a bit at low RPMs. I've been a Seafoam user for years and swear by it, so I decided to buy these highly concentrated bottles instead as the boat tank is 100 gallons. I put 4 bottles in on my first trip out to the lake and after running it for a while I noticed a drastic improvement in idle and it was significantly smoother throughout the RPMs. I add more at each fill up to keep the fuel system clean and the fuel stabilized. Can't recommend Seafoam products enough!

Magic!!
My 2013 Chevy Silverado was starting very very rough for about 5 seconds and then would run fine until the next cold start. Was getting many error codes, too lean, too rich etc. etc. Took it to the dealer and they suggested intake manifold gaskets and a new MEF sensor. Didn't help at all to the tune of $1,200+ later. Engine light back on after the dealer fix and took it to Autozone to use their code reader. This time it suggested a fuel injector replacement so I thought to myself why not try a bottle of this Seafoam as I have heard about it before but never thought I needed it. After adding the bottle to 15 gallons of gas at the station and driving about 40 miles roundtrip in a day. The very next day it started perfectly and the light is now off. For a $5.00 bottle of Magic stuff!!! I sure wish I would have tried that before the dealer fix.

Worked great! Reduced injector tick sound
I was noticing a tick coming from my injectors and being that I have had a good history with SeaFoam I decided to give this a chance and it worked great. Now all I was able to measure was the sound but it seems to of worked, as for mileage improvement I didn't record my before to compare with after but that wasn't exactly why I bought it.

Used this on my Tiger 800 and the engine seems a lot smoother and the mileage also has picked up a little. Highly recommended. Use as per instructions

Bought this as I suspected I had blocked injection, having owned the bike since last summer it's always had a flat spot at mid range and jerky at low speed, progressively got worse and recently run very poorly to the point I thought the bike was going to break down, before buying expensive parts I figured why not try this stuff, I have read on many Forums they love it in the U.S, so I put 4 fluid ounces in my tank and took the bike out today, after a mile of hesitation the engine burst into life and now runs beautifully, smooth and full power restored throughout the entire rev rage, I am both relieved and equally impressed with SeaFoam.

This product seems to work as advertised, gave me a little bit better gas mileage I think, it gets to work really quickly, fairly good value for money. Although if you go by the recommended amount you're still probably better off filling up with premium fuel. Would highly recommend it though if your car is idling rough or you just like to rejuvenate the life of the car a bit.
