5 stars and will buy again
Absolutely love this item! It's so versatile for all forms of functional training. And it holds heavyweight pretty well. I was able to put a 45 and 35 plate on there with no issues. 5 stars and will buy again if needed.

Building forearms
I like the fitarc forearm wrist strenghthener. I’ve been using it for about a week. I went and bought a 2 1/2 lb Olympic weight to add to it. I’m a ball player and it’s been helping my swing. I feel like I can roll my wrist a lot quicker. 💪

Great product!
I am a woman, healing from a forearm tear and dealing with a pinched nerve affecting my arm. My PT used a device similar to this, but when I looked it up on Amazon, it was extremely pricey. This was a suggested alternative. I have to say it works great! I use it every other day and it is definitely strengthening my wrist and my grip. I put a couple small plates in there and I can adjust how difficult it is by how far up I hold it. The ultimate goal was for it to make a difference in my every day grip and forearm strength and tennis game as I am starting to get back playing, and I can tell it is!

Somewhere between 3 and 4 stars
The knurling is very poor. I'd recommend adding some grip tape or other material to enhance the grip. That was the reason for losing one full star. I'd also knock off an additional 1/4 star for the weight collar. This is an inexpensive item but I'd pay a few bucks more for a better constructed collar. With that said, a lot of forearm trainers are garbage, and if you can get over the lack of proper knurling this is a solid choice.

If your forearms are the weak link in your training, this is where you start
If you already know what a wrist curl bar is and just want to know if this specific bar is worth buying, short answer is yes. Olympic plates fit perfectly with zero wobble, the knurling gives you a solid grip, and the lever collar that comes with it holds everything in place. The collar is a little stiff when you first get it but loosens up within a few weeks. Solid construction, nothing flimsy about it. I weighed the whole thing and it comes in just over 1.5 lbs before plates. I keep mine in my home office so I can get reps in throughout the day without making a trip to the gym. At this price and with this quality it's an incredible value. Moving on. For anyone still on the fence about whether forearm training is even worth your time, here is my take. Grip strength is often the thing that gives out first on pulling exercises, long before your back or biceps are anywhere close to done. If you have ever felt your grip failing on a deadlift or a row while the muscle you're trying to work still has gas left, that's your forearm and grip holding you back. Fix that and everything else gets better. What I like about this over just grabbing a dumbbell for wrist curls is the range of motion you get. You can do standard curls, reverse curls, and full supination and pronation work where you rotate through a complete range. That rotational stuff is hard to replicate any other way and you will feel muscles firing that you did not even know were there. If your hands get sweaty during longer sets some chalk or lifting tape on the handle helps. IMO frequency matters more than anything else with forearm work. A few sets spread through the day beats one long session a week, which is another reason having one at your desk just makes sense. It's easy to pick up and use anytime, even if it's just for 5 minutes between calls. I've only had this a few weeks and I feel my forearms are already noticeably stronger and more developed. My grip on other exercises feels better too. Most convincingly, I had to loosen my watch band a notch. Might be the increased training volume in general but I do not think it's a coincidence. This thing is effective.

This is a well m ade, worthwhile addition to my home gym. Bought one, worked out once or twice and then bought a second one so I can workout both arms at once. Simple but worthwile.

Great product - effective and well made
Simple but effective - I wouldn’t be without mine, it has been great for rehabilitation of tendon injuries. The clamp is secure and weights (sold separately) are held in place well - you can vary where you grip on the pole to vary the resistance. Would benefit from some markers on the pole to help with long term consistency of resistance, but otherwise can’t fault it.
