Just a note to the seller you need to adjust the HOW IT WORKS section for this product. The blinds are not adjustable for the installation in windows smaller than 30"W.HOW IT WORKS:: "Shades are customizable for any window size from 48”x 72” to 18”x72”."However on the box it's stated that "easily adjusts to any window from 30"W - 48"W." You can only trip 9 inches off per side due to where the strings are located.

GARBAGE!!! We bought 10 of these because we weren't ready to take the plunge and order custom window coverings for our new home until we had lived in it for a few weeks. We've had these up for about a month and half of them have fallen down and will no longer stick. We've tried several types of double sided tape, even gorilla tape, but these are made of a weird fabric that nothing seems to stick to for longer than a few hours. And conveniently, the return window for these piece of crap shades is only 30 days, so now we're stuck with the useless pieces of GARBAGE.Pass, people, they're not worth your time or money.

These blinds are amazing. They are heavier than paper, they pull down and push back up easily. They look nice, they do not look like a temporary fix. They are functional, and now that they are up I plan to leave them up for a good while. I have an entire wall of windows that if left open make the house brutally hot in the summer. The amount of heat entering the house has been greatly reduced.They are a good buy, You can't go wrong. I purchased one to try it out and have since bought several more. One of the blinds was "stuck" and wouldn't go down or up, I did not want to bother with returning it, I cut the strings and put it blocks the light and heat perfectly, I can't raise that shade, but it serves my purpose. The rest that I have purchased (about 5 more) have had NO problems at all. I am glad I bought them and as I said, I have since ordered many more with no problems.

When I moved into my new home, I put up some paper temporary shades sold on Amazon. These started to fall down within days. As I was furnishing the house and the temp shades would be needed for two or three months, I paid a premium of about 40% over the cheaper shades and bought the Luxr band. These shades are made of fabric instead of paper, stick well, and can be easily raised and lowered by a center drawstring. The shades look good enough that several of my guests have thought they were permanent window treatments. On the negative side, the installation requires the additional step of cutting both sides when sizing because of the center cord. The sizing is easily done using an exacto knife. Also, some buyers may not like the cord hanging down the middle of the window. I bought the light filtering shade which allow in some light unlike a room darkening shade. The shades are easy to adjust, look good, and seem durable. I have had mine up a month and despite frequent lowering and raising. seem quite sturdy. I recommend these for a quick, easy, and attractive temporary window treatment.

I love these temporary shades, they look nice, are easy to operate, and affordable. Sadly, the adhesive on these shades is useless. No less than 6 times a day, I have to reattach them to the window. The corners are always falling off. They're probably hanging off right now.If they find a better, temporary adhesive, these will be great, but until then, I cannot recommend them.

I moved into a new house and needed temporary blinds before our new windows and shades are installed. Since the windows will take 4 to 5 weeks to be made and shipped, installed, these temoprary blinds were a must. They've stayed attached for me with no problems going on two weeks, although we don't have any window condensation or moisture in our California address. They're very intuitive to install, but reading the reports of their falling off, I don't yank on them to slide closed or slide open. They're very easy to cut and fit to my window size. These are exactly what was promised. I ordered a pack of 4 and decided to replace a cordless set of two (another product) with a second order of these. I'm no corporate fanboy or am being paid a dime to write this review. The engineering is so simple on these that if the right materials are used (and they are), there should be no operational problem (and there isn't). I don't understand what all the negativity is in the other reviews

These are paper temporary shades. They cut to fit easy with sissors, a few pleats at a time. The top header is peel and stick. They’ve been up a month now and haven’t fallen down. They look very much like the expensive kind but I wouldn’t try opening and closing them often.

This is suppose to be a self stick shade but when I tried to stick it up, it fell down. There is not enough sticky glue to hold it up. I was very disappointed. It was a waste of my money. I cannot recommend this product.
