I’ve been meaning to transfer my wedding vhs tape to a memory stick, and I searched for a business to do this. I picked Lotus Media, and they did a great job!! It wasn’t too pricey and their service was excellent! They are very efficient and professional.I loved that they provided a link so that I can save it to my google cloud. I also chose to have it transferred to a memory stick. I was in no rush to get the original vhs tape back along with the memory stick, but didn’t take them that long to rerun it. I grew up in a large family consisting of two parents and six kids (five boys and one girl). My siblings and I were very active from a young age and involved in many activities which meant a lot of activities to film. If there wasn't a football game to record there was a birthday to capture. From the late years of 1980 through mid-2000 my father dedicated much of his time to gather all of these special moments into 60+ home videos each over 2 hours in length! Now that all of us siblings are older, one of our favorite things to do together is watch these fond memories and laugh. Being the tech-savy sibling, it was always my tedious responsibility to find the camera, gather the tapes, connect to the TV and monitor the player as we watched. It was enjoyable to watch but not fun fixing the camera when it jammed, or switching the inputs. I did my research and found Lotus Media. As described on the Lotus Media website, i boxed all 60+ tapes in USPS fixed-rate box and the rest was done! The tapes arrived in three days and as soon as they arrived, Lotus informed me. I expected not to hear from them for a few weeks to find out that the conversion was completed in TWO DAYS from my package arriving! They provided me with a google drive link and a sample video to make sure I was satisfied. Within the next 12 hours all 60+ tapes were uploaded to one, accessible, google drive link. The audio and video were as clear as playing on the camcorder. My father, who dedicated much of his time to recording our childhood, now has these memories at touch of a button. I never expected to receive my VHS to digital to happen so quickly. The entire process was super easy. I received my introductory package (purchased through Amazon) in no time at all. I decided to add 2 VHS tapes to the order and the process was very straightforward. I packaged up three VHS tapes, dropped them off at the post office and before I could sit back and wait, an e-mail was in my box telling me they were ready for review. Getting to them on Google was fast, download speed was fine for the file size and the quality was very good. These tapes had been stored for over thirty years, in boxes, but I'm sure not like an archivist would do. So, knowing what I would get from a VHS tape (remember the quality of equipment back then) I expected some deflection in quality. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the quality of the video had not changed. My experience with Lotus Media was outstanding and I will certainly be sending them more tapes in the future.

I had an 8mm tape from 2003. My oldest child being born, his 1st moments and etc. I never ever got to find a big VHS tape adapter, as they never made for these tapes (or I never found one) Places I did see that would convert the tape into another tape or DVD wanted $75 or above with no guarantee that it would work or that my tape was safe! Years go by and my son is graduating and I find the tape. I start searching on Amazon and still no luck in an adapter! 😭 Here comes LOTUS MEDIA to the rescue! Great reviews, they handle my type of tape and its safely converted for me to make my own DVD! I get the stuff, fill in the papers and ship it with tracking and in less than a week, they get it and next thing I know I was getting a warm email with the file! They even recycle the tape free of charge! (I dont need it back lol) I had 2 other tapes, but cant find them, but if I do, THIS IS THE SERVICE I would use again in a heartbeat! I like how quickly I received my recordings. I was under the impression that that picture quality would be cleaned up. My tapes are 20 years old.

I had a 25-year-old VHS tape of 8mm family movies originally shot 1957-65 but I no longer own a VHS player to view the tape [or maybe it's being used as a boat anchor somewhere]. I wanted to get the tape digitized to protect it forever and make it easy to copy for other family members.I'd looked at Legacy Box but, from what I could tell, it was going to cost me a minimum $79. I decided to take a chance on this Amazon deal for Video Tape Transfer Service by Lotus Media and ... WOW! There are some forms that need to be completed [nothing too time-consuming] and I did have to make a trip to the post office which is the only reason I wouldn't give it a full 5-stars for "Ease of Use".I anticipated the turnaround being a good three weeks. I was quite surprised and happy to see the download link of the transferred file sent to my email in less than a week. I was able to easily download the file and dupe it five times for my siblings. Sometimes, when converting files, there's a slight degradation in image quality. Not this time. The digitized file was every bit as clear and sharp [well, as much as 65-year-old source technology would allow]. Still waiting on the VHS tape to be returned but not worried about that. I ran slightly over the total number of hours that could be transferred for the sale price so I paid an additional $14. Total bill: Right about $35, I highly, highly recommend this service. And do it today or you may regret not preserving these precious memories sooner! - Pete.
