I am a side sleeper so it is too firm for me to use. If it was a little thinner I think it would have worked for me because I would have felt that I was sleeping in alignment, instead of my neck being bent. In all fairness,I do have cervical spine issues so I am more sensitive to that than others. I loved the coolness of it! Loved that!! And the size is really good. Not too long, not to small. I had my husband use it because he sleeps on his back and he thought it was comfortable. AND I thought he snored less. I am giving it to him and he is happy about that.The usual memory foam smell is VERY faint and dissipates quickly. That too is a plus and the covering on it is very nice. The company also sent an email letting me know that they would be happy to answer any questions or concerns. I would recommend it for back sleepers but probably not for side sleepers.

I love that this pillow is hypoallergenic and dust mite resistant. For that alone I may have bought it but the cooling gel aspect was the clincher, the idea of being able to turn my pillow to the 'cool' side on a hot night. It was a little disappointing to barely feel any cooler, I was expecting to feel a real difference but that didn't happen. However I will still use it, it's a great pillow and very comfortable, thank you.

This was a gift for Father’s DayThe box the pillow came in looked like it had already been opened or returnedThe pillow was not in the plastic casing, the plastic was on the side of the pillowI had to tape the box up just so I could wrap it .The shipping box was fine .

This pillow seemed to be of high quality, and might be very comfortable for someone else - but it was much too thick and firm for me. On the bright side, the return was quick and easy! I like that I can try products without risk!

I do like this pillow and plan on sleeping on it for the foreseeable future. My only issue is how to distinguish which side has the gel as there are no markings and both sides feel similar. I have slept on both sides and get a restful sleep and it feels very comfortable to me. I prefer firm to soft, so for me this is a perfect pillow.

This pillow is awesome! The only small complaint is the faint smell when first opening the pillow. It comes with a cover that is washable which helps take care of the odor. Overall the size is great, it is not too cumbersome, I enjoy the fact of the duel purpose of the pillow. There is the soft plush side then the firm cooling side. This is what makes the pillow special compare to others. Another perk it is hypoallergenic, this pillow is a great night sleep for me personally and I would recommend others to give it a try if your looking for a pillow that has the cooling effect.

If you are a side sleeper like myself the pillow is simply too firm. I found I cannot use without getting neck pain. On the positive side this pillow does remain cool throughout the night. If you like a pillow that is extremely firm you will love it otherwise I do not recommend.

This pillow is thick and firm- good for side sleepers (not so much for back and definitely not for stomach sleepers). The product seems to be of high quality. I’ve never used pillows with cooling pad and decided to give it a try. It does have cooling effect, which might be pleasant in hot weather. The pillow arrived in timely manner as was stated and very good packed. It has zippered cover for easy wash. I need to say it has faint “bitter” smell, which I hope will disappear with time.

Very strong horrible chemical smell. Sunned it for days, wiped it several times with damp tissues but smell remains, the tissues used to wipe it even come away with the strong smell!Tried using with the included cover plus a pillow protector plus a pillow case but the smell just goes right through, even gets on my hair after using it once! Just too bad cos pillow seems good otherwise, but just unusable like this.
