This one has excellent heat retention—I’ve already bought two of them.

Very large, hot liquids can scald you after hours in the jar. Highly efficient heat retention. Not as durable, dents when dropped, and inner brushed steel is easy to scratch. Easy use of a soapy soft cloth for cleanings. But pungent dishes can leave an odor.

Amazing… I tested this myself to see how long it would stay hot… however I will say to boil water and pour in the container and let it sit 5 minutes… pour water out… and put your hot dish in the container and that helps prolong the dish. I placed in the container hot soup at 3:30 at 9:30 it was still steaming as if I had just cooked it!!! Will buy more. I’m impressed.

Keeps soup hot for at least 6 hours! It seemed just as hot when i put it in at 7am by the time i ate for lunch. I opened the jar after 12 hours and it was still warm.

Good for bring some warm food for short travel.

I like these wide-lipped thermos because I can fit chili, soup, etc. enough for a filling lunch. For example, I fit 16 Oz can of soup and had room to spare. Easy to clean as the opening is as wide as the container. Very pretty as well.

I preheat the jar with boiling hot water, and used it to store porridge. I didn't have to fully cook the porridge, and it would be piping hot and ready 6 hours later. It actually is too hot, and I would leave it open to cool down. I have also kept aglio olio in it. The heat retention was not as good, but definitely still hot. This is actually the second purchase from Amazon as the stores sell it for much more expensive.

Looking forward to soup weather! Love this line of products. Unmatched in keeping the good stuff cold and the hot stuff piping!

Keep warm for very long hours. Very good look small but enough for keeping 1 to 2 adult soup. Can not use too big spoon to scope.

J'adore ce bocal, il garde bien la nourriture au chaud. Le matin vers 7h, je le remplis d'eau bouillante pour 10-15 minutes. Ensuite, je vide l'eau et transfère mon plat réchauffé dedans. Je mange mon repas vers 12h et c'est toujours encore chaud. Dépendent du type de nourriture, certains sont plus chaud que d'autres. Petit point négatif c'est que si tu as des mains plus costauds, tu risques de ne pas pouvoir frotter le bocal avec l'éponge dans ta main. Moi je passe limite, parfois j'ai les mains plus gonflées et j'ai du mal. Je dois utiliser des ustensiles pour frotter le fond du bocal. Une chose que j'aime un peu moins est le couvercle aussi, il est en plastique. Alors que s'il était en métal, ça pourrait peut-être mieux retenir la chaleur. Faire attention, il ne rentre pas à la lave-vaisselle !
