Does what it's supposed to. I used this to prep small rusting spots on my car for painting touch ups. Worked well.

Compact , easy to use, works as advertised and refills are available on Amazon . Product paid for itself many times over with the 1st use , saved a trail cam suffering from corroded battery itis .A few minutes of easy work ,turned it from an expensive piece of junk back to a fully functional tool.

When I purchased my demo BMW, the previous owner decided to "blob" touchup paint on each of the chips on the hood. I could not think of any effective means of trying to until I encountered this glass fiber sanding pen. It works extremely well. The small size and narrowness of the tip allows really precise sanding and I was able to reduce the various "bumps" before finishing with compounding and final paint correction.This item is extremely affordable and the replacement glass fiber inserts are also very attractively priced.

This item wasn't exactly as I'd expected, but it worked well for removing debris from small paint chips on my car prior to adding a primer, basecoat and paint. The tip on the sanding pen is made of small, tightly compacted fibers which do sand small areas very well. The fibers can break, but I found very little of that when using this item. You have to twist the pen to deploy the bristles. I found that while the pen seemed rather flimsy in its build-quality, the pen worked as expected and it was easy to extend the bristles to varying lengths.I'd recommend this as a tool for those looking to repair vehicle paint chips, or hobbyists who need to sand in tight areas.
