Anxitane M & L (L-Theanine) Chewable Tablets, 30 Count

My dog has a high level of separation anxiety, I have tried all sorts of products, but this one has worked from the beginning. No accidents, much more calm, and I think she is happier too. She is a large dog, about 80lbs., and the only downside to this product is the cost for her size, each box is about $30, 1 box last only 2 weeks for her size. Gets expensive, you need to shop around for the best price.

This product overall is AWESOME. I have a rescued beagle that was beaten and has separation anxiety. She also is very nervous in nature. She was scared of EVERYTHING. I finally didn't know what to do. So I read great reviews about this product Anxitane. Since my beagle has been on the product is like a new dog. She's more social, more calm, and just enjoys life. Anxitane M&L is a life saver. Plus this product does not make her sleepy or highper. I just wish this was a little cheaper. She has been on this product over a month now and she will be on the for life.

I purchased this to try for my dogs when we're expecting company. They're great dogs, they have lots of formal and useful training under their belts, and they're super with people, but ever since Covid, when everyone stopped visiting, they get a little excited when people come over (me, too!). This is all totally manageable without any kind of medication or supplements, but I thought it would be nice if we could just take the edge off of their exuberance. My expectations weren't that this would make my pups unusually chill and quiet, just that they would perhaps settle a few minutes sooner and maybe not be quite as excited when our (quiet) guests arrived. Nothing. Not being one to give up after only one trial run, I decided to test this out in various scenarios, with different levels of triggers, in different environments, along side other calming products, alone at double the dose, and in just about every varying scenario with each dog, together and individually, that you can imagine. After all of my trials and testing, I've determined that this product didn't do one thing to bring anxiety levels down in any kind of measurable way, even when only presented with normal, every day life events to contend with (like product deliveries, which my dogs don't really have any issue with - but I'd have noticed and taken note if the dogs would have opted to not give an alert bark that someone was here). This product is rather pricey for an item that has absolutely zero benefits, and if it can't take even a modest edge off of a nominal level of anxiety, it'd definitely not going to be able to override the kind of anxiety you get when there's a major adrenaline dump from something exciting or over arousing happening. Save your money for a veterinary behaviorist consult if you're considering this for a dog who's struggling with something. This isn't going to do ANYTHING for a dog with clinical symptoms of separation anxiety, reactivity, aggressive behavior, dog-dog aggression, or other behaviors stemming from fear, lack of confidence, or major life changes. This is definitely not going to help with any of that, and you don't need to waste money on a product that's ineffective.

These work well for my dog but he will only eat the ones in the packaging shown. The product that was delivered is in blue and green packaging. Disappointing.

Dudley, my 7 year old English Bulldogge, had severe separation anxiety. When we would return home, whether being out for 1 hour or several hours, all 4 of his paws were soaking wet from sucking, and the rug he sat on was also soaking wet. Needless to say, when he saw the expression on our faces when we returned, he would crouch down and shake. I didn't have the heart to scold him so we just put up with the sucked paws. I tried Prozac for dogs, but he became a zombie and I quickly stopped. I tried Anxitane at the end of March and by the end of April he was a totally different dog. He is back toi being the old Dudley again. He has the run of the house and when we come home he graciously greets us at the door. We love him and of course we love Anxitane. The only problem -- it's too expensive!

My 48lb mixed breed is terrified of everything from the trash truck to rain/thunder/lightning. I mean foaming at the mouth, drooling, pacing, won’t eat, shakes and trembles. After trying CBD treats & drops, I reached out to my vet for something more. He suggested this medicine. Tonight was the first rainstorm where I noticed an improvement. My pup was still at my feet but no panting or drooling, trembling, etc. He was just chill and hung out next to me. Fingers crossed this is the answer! Downside - I wish it weren’t so pricey 😭

This product is amazing!!! Works very quickly and leaves no "hangover effect" as with prescription drugs. A bit large to get down the animals throat since they refuse to chew it. But well worth the cost!!!

The packaging is completely different than the picture in the item description and does not contain an ingredient's list. I've purchased this product many times before from a veterinarian, so will be returning this one as I'm unable to determine whether it's the same product.

J'ai connu ce produit au Mexique car mon chien ne peut pas prendre une liste de médicament et nous devions revenir du Mexique en voiture. Je ne peux pas nommer ce produit un calmant mais c'est exactement l'effet que ça produit sans aucun effet secondaire. Excellent pour les chiens ou chats souffrant d'anxiété. Je lui en donne au besoin et ça a vraiment un effet apaisant. Pour la voiture, mieux de donner une heure avant.

We notice a huge difference in our dog compared to when he's not had one of these pills. He's a rescue and this has helped manage his anxiety greatly. Availability has been a small issue, but that's been the case with a lot of products so I'm not going to punish this supplier for something that may well be out of their control.

Bought these to use once my pharmacy bought ones were used up. Started using them this month and had issues with my dogs anxieties (did not appear to work). Went back to pharmacy to buy from them again and no more issues with anxiety. These are either fake, stored incorrectly or expired (date does not show it’s expired). Will not buy again
