Hi! Would it fit / work on a headless guitar? That is, if I put the clip on another part of the guitar and not the head, would it work?

Will this work on a violin?

Hi I am not sure it depends what notes are on a violin, it states guitar and bass so i would imagine you would need a specific one for violin.

Will it tune a celtic harp?

It works off vibrations from the instrument so would need to clamp on somewhere. Jaws open about a half inch (thickness of a guitar headstock). Its chromatic so theoretically should work for any instrument in concert pitch. Make sure you damp all strings except the one you are tuning or you will get interference from other strings. Don't know the full range but works from bass guitar low E to octave up on guitar high e which is 5 octaves. Reliable and sturdy, hasn't let me down.
