PedifixVisco-Gel Toe Spacers - Large (Pack of 2)

I have severe hammertoe but don't want surgery. I have gotten by for years and have prevented painful bleeding abrasions by using silicone toe separaters between my big toe and the next one. I don't want to chance cutting off circulation, so I don't use the kind that have a ring around the second toe to keep them in place. They need to be large and long enough to fully separate the areas that would otherwise rub, and they need to be very soft and conformable to fit without bulk that would interfere with my shoes. So I turned to silicone toe separators -- but I discovered that different brands vary widely in shape and softness. Some brands are stiff or have a shape like a flattened spool, with thin rims at the ends and a uniform slightly flattened tube between. These types are unusable in my experience. They are far less comfortable and they slip out of place. These PediFix ones are very soft, long enough to cover where needed (I get the large ones), and importantly, their shape is a smooth arc instead of a straight tube with thin rims (see photo). They stay in place and are the most comfortable brand I have found. I will be getting only this brand from now on.The instructions say to hand wash, but I am lazy. I put them in a lingerie bag and machine wash them in cold water with my clothes and remove before transfer to the dryer. They hold up well for many uses. I have not had an issue of them getting tacky. Eventually, they get torn by the stresses of being constantly twisted and pressed between my toes as I walk. This doesn't happen until after many wearings. Then it's time to buy more.Highly recommended as functionally superior to separators which are stiffer or lack this optimized shape. A podiatrist who looked at my foot told me I was smart to use them and avoid the corrective surgery. (It is often problematic.)

These are nice- soft silicone. I wear a women’s 8 in shoes and bought the small. I should’ve bought medium bc I have to use 2 to get to appropriate spacing. Overall it’s a fine product, I just bought the wrong size.

I purchased these because I have pretty bad hallux valgus- or bunions. I had a nice set of big toe spacers, but lost one of them (I need them for both feet), so decided to get a replacement.FIRSTLY- don't be fooled by there being two sets of each size, with one costing significantly more than the other. Despite the question and answer section having an answer that says there are supposed to be four pieces. the is in fact only two, and you are wasting your money if you spend the extra $3 thinking you'll have a better deal. You won't- they are exactly the same in model and quantity as the cheaper item! I didn't realize that when I made my purchase, trusting the information provided, and wasted money I did not need to.Secondly, these aren't really "large." The portion that fits between the toes is actually pretty thin, in fact, I can barely see any change visibly between wearing the spacer and not on my worst foot. My right foot is marginally less subluxed and so the spacer might be sufficient in just keeping the toes from physically rubbing against each other and causing sores, but it doesn't appear that it will be able to work as intended, ie reducing foot pain.They're fairly comfortable, soft and squishy. I have extremely sensitive skin, but the material doesn't feel like it would be a problem for long term wear due to how nice and soft they are. They're also going to be quite simple to clean and air dry, needing only a bit of soap and washing with the hands rather than a cloth which might damage them.Overall, I am disappointed with the purchase. I was expecting a thicker product that could straighten out my large toe and ease my pain, but these will at best just provide a barrier to prevent the two toes rubbing together rather than provide any significant spacing. I feel like they are too expensive for what they are, and that the titling of the item, combined with some of the questions and answers for this specific listing suggesting that it is two packs of 2 spacers comes across as misleading. If an answer is wrong, then the seller ought to come in to correct it themselves so that customers don't feel they've been deceived.I don't recommend these, feel like I have wasted money with the purchase, and will be needing to search for a different product that can properly help me with my foot pain, as these are not sufficient for the task for which I purchased them.

I have an issue with my big toe on one foot. I noticed lately it seems to have increased in angle which I believe is causing me to run weird on that leg perhaps to do the misalignment of the toe. So I decided to see if these would help. They were shipped very quickly and I started wearing them right away. They are "Medium-fits most" although I checked on Amazon and they do sell "small" and "large" ones. These I believe are perfect for me, I wear a size 8 but not sure if that helps you. I'd say my bunion is average from some of the pics I've seen online of really bad cases. Anyway to my delight they are very comfortable and most the time do not even notice they are in my shoe. I wear them around the house, most comfortable and have tried them at the gym. I really like them. There is less pain and redness since I started using them. I even wear it to bed and most of the time it stays put without socks, but with socks they have never fallen out if you can handle wearing socks to bed. I'm going to keep using them because they help! I don't know if these will do anything to help with realigning of the bone but I don't want surgery. These do provide relief and that's what I was looking for and to improve my running, particularly better striking of the foot. I've been using them for about a week and love 'em. I will try to update after a few months to see if there are any changes. I also bought the pedifix rubber ones and prefer these hands down over them.

I’ve used these for several years. They keep my toes from crossing over and irritating each other. I highly recommend these. Easy to quickly clean every night.

The principle of the product is good, but these are far too big for my size 6 feet. I would really appreciate it if they came in a small size suitable for women. I do not have particularly small feet, but these are obviously made for men, and big men at that.

I would say that it is a size small not a medium. I am a woman with size 8 feet. I feel that they are too small for my feet. I am looking for more toe separation. I don't want my toes touching at all and they do with these separators. On the upside, they do stay in place. And they are comfortable to wear. You don't realize you are wearing them at all.

These worked at spacing my toes out with my mild bunions, but after a week of use they are already wearing away. I expected these to last way longer! I give these a couple more weeks until they're unusable from wear.

These toe spacers were recommended by a colleague. For me they are an amazing help. Product was delivered the day after ordering in minimal packing. Exactly as described.
