I bought this because I had a perfectly good wall mount already installed, but the VESA pattern on a newer TV didn’t line up with it. Instead of replacing the entire mount, this adapter plate solved the problem in about ten minutes. The plates are solid steel and feel sturdy enough to support the TV without any flexing. Installation was straightforward — just attach the plates to the TV using the included hardware and then mount it to your existing bracket. It essentially converts a smaller VESA mount (like my 200×200) so it can work with larger patterns such as 300×300 or 400×400 (new TV has the latter). Once everything was tightened down, the TV felt just as secure as if the mount had fit natively. For anyone who already has a mount they like but runs into a VESA mismatch with a different TV, this is a cheap and easy way to make the two work together.

I replaced an outside TV that is mounted on a cylinder block wall. The mounting bracket is 200 x 200 and the replacement TV is 300 x 300. This adapter worked great, is sturdy, and includes the necessary hardware. I had to drill the hole size of my existing mount 1 size larger to work with the included bolts, but, that was not an issue. Also be aware that in my case, the way the mounting holes aligned on my TV, 43" Amazon Fire TV, the bracket shows on the bottom.

This was just what I needed to put a new TV on an existing wall mount. Sturdy but not too heavy. Had the hardware I needed. Easy to install and a great value for the money. It's a quality product with the hardware included.

The template measurements are good for my 400x400 Samsung TV, the material’s high quality, but the mounting screws that came with it are too long for the top and too short for the bottom openings on the TV so I had to go to the hardware store to get ones that fit securely.

Easy to install and very sturdy. We adapted our 200 x200 VESA mount to 400 x 400 with no problem.

These worked great to extend my TV wall mount bracket to accommodate my new TV. I only wish the TV was as sturdy as these and maybe it would still work!
