Such a wonderful carrier! Spacious for my umbrella cockatoo, great ventilation, crazy easy to assemble, and my bird accepted it within minutes. I padded the perch so that he could hang on better over bumps and in turns. My only complaint, if you can even call it a complaint... It crushes too easily when strapped into the car seat with a seatbelt. I had to add planks of wood inside, to help it hold its shape. It is a wonderful carrier though - so light! My bird's other carrier, which is also awesome, is made of acrylic and weighs a ton. I cannot comment on its durability, as we've only just gotten it. But it appears quite rugged. Parts are of high quality and it appears to be very well constructed. I highly recommend this carrier!!!

Perfect for my Severe Macaws light easy to carry, great flaps very very impressed prefer over my two Celti's at 1/2 the cost and easier to clean too. excellent as a car carrier and back pack . Has places for two small bowls , and toys . Bite proof screening , the catch pan works and fit well. I highly recommend this case for the price it is a bargain.

Jabbers my Sulfur Crested Cockatoo absolutely loves car rides. I put him in the carrier and he proceeds to talk and whistle up a storm. I believe she thinks she is flying as we go down the freeway. The carrier is exceptionally well made using quality fabric and zipper. The perch is correct size and allows Jabbers freedom of movement. Product improvement: 1. Devise a mechanism which secures carrier to seat. The seat belt is not as secure as I would like so I bungee handle to the headrest for added security. 2) make water/food bowl slightly smaller and include 2 bowls instead of 1 oversized bowl.

Very nice for naughty birds. Just a bit too big (6?in) for a greater cockatoo. Really nice tough material.

Worst product ever. Advertised as chew proof. Poorly designed. Didn’t make it 24 hours and had to modify it to keep the sulfur crested cockatoo in the cage while traveling fine Missouri to california. Don’t waste you money. Past the return window to return.

It's a bit big for my back, but that's not the product's fault. That's my fault for being five foot four and wanting to carry a parrot around on my back when I take the dog for a walk. Five stars since my parrot loves it. For anyone trying to get a size reference, she's a blue-headed macaw and it gives plenty of room for her long tail.

Perfect size if you're struggling to fit your cockatoo in regular bird sized carriers, worth paying the extra money. The bowl will be tilted and not straight when you screw it in, and this is not non-destructible for sure, but it was the best someone can do for this purpose given that cockatoos are destructive and large birds.
