Near-Death Experience People try their best to explain what they saw in Heaven, and the Essenes have already written of its great majesty! If that wasn't enough, there are explanations given why fasting with prayer is helpful, and there are deep thoughtful sayings on almost every page to ponder/meditate over, such as this one: "The spirits of truth & falsehood struggle within the heart of man; Truth born out of the spring of Light, Falsehood from the well of darkness. And according as a man inherits truth, so will he avoid darkness." We are so fortunate to receive these great Essene teachings!

Raised and "groomed" by "the church", I am feeling cheated by the absence of these books in my life for all of my 70 years!This is a practical guide to living one's life as it should be lived!The Council of Nicea did us all a great disservice when they decided to eliminate the contents of these parchments (also found with the Dead Sea Scrolls!) from the Bible. I believe now that the Bible was horribly manipulated, changed, etc. over the centuries, leaving it impotent and without the power it was intended to reveal.

I consider myself a Christian but I always felt something was lacking in the fundamental dogma of Christianity and the Bible. This book really resonated with me.

Beautiful book, Read the first book. The second book is taking me a little longer to understand. But I will keep at it.

This wonderful book rested unread in my book shelf for almost two years. Not forgotten; simply put aside because I sensed the book would have a profound effect on me. Other studies were drawing my attention.Now, every morning and every evening, I sit quietly and read each day's Communions. The book is divine poetry. Most passages I will read several times over. I enjoyed reading this thought provoking Volume of 4 Books in One. Whether one follows traditional Christianity or is generally a Spiritual Seeker this Volume is inspirational and informative.
