Fit nicely on my 2016 Elantra GT, it was easy to slip into the proper slot and also easy to have the long screw to firmly secure it. Remember to change the timing (serpent) belt while you’re at it!

This is the exact part you would get at the dealer with a Mando sticker, actually has Valeo cast in it. If you know parts, Valeo is OEM for many brands (my CTS from GM has tons of Valeo stuff) and the original I took off says Valeo as well. As for the couple of reviews with bearing failures, these cars don't have spring loaded belt tensioners, old school you do it with a wrench. You can overtighen the belt if you don't know what you're doing and the side loading will ruin the bearing.

2011 Hyundai Elantra GLS/MD 1.8 was built in Korea. This alternator was built in Korea. Working great and no issues. Fast delivery time and very well packaged. If your Hyundai was built in Korea this is your part. Will be buying another one soon as a backup. Great job guys

Put it in on Saturday. Did an alternator break in procedure. Tuesday the battery was dead, put in a new battery tuesday. Wednesday afternoon brand new battery was completely drained. This new alternator was only putting out 8.37 volts. Bought one from Oreillys last night and cars running fine now. Will be returning this product.

It definitely works as well as the factory motto. Did haven't had any problems with it so far.

This a perfect fit on a 2013 Hyundai Elantra limited. Like others had said it needs to be packed better. My order the inside box was not taped closed so it had opened up and not secure. The metal landing for the wire tie was broken but was still able to use. No other damage. Alternator spun by hand easily and was quiet. After the install output was 14.5 volts and is functioning as it should. Time will tell.
