PERFECT replacment for the original!!

I don't know if I received the correct item, but this was an EXACT fit for my Acer Aspire. Steel, not plastic and had the acer logo. LOT more work to replace than I realized, though. Watch a video before starting or you WILL damage your display. The adhesive under the display must be removed BEFORE the display. (I wound it up on tweezers)
