Hi-Pro Plus Dry Dog Food - High Protein Gluten Free Dry Kibble, 30lb

We’ve been very happy with this dog food. It was actually recommended to us by the person we bought our puppy from, and it has worked great so far. Our puppy really likes it and eats it without any issues. More importantly, it has been very easy on her stomach—no digestive problems, which was something we were concerned about when switching foods. The kibble size is appropriate for puppies, and the quality seems very good. We’ve noticed that our dog stays active and healthy, which gives us confidence that she’s getting proper nutrition. Overall, this has been a great choice for our puppy, and we plan to continue using it. I would definitely recommend it to other new dog owners looking for a reliable food option.

I bought this dog food because I needed something high in protein for an active dog. I wanted a premium option with good ingredients that would support energy and overall health. First impression: the kibble looks good quality and smells normal (not overly strong). The ingredient list gave me confidence, especially with multiple protein sources. After switching to this food, I noticed my dog had more consistent energy and seemed very satisfied after meals. No hesitation at feeding time, which is always a good sign. What I like most is the high protein content. It feels like a great option for active dogs that need extra fuel without unnecessary fillers. The only downside is the price compared to basic dog food, but the quality makes it worth it. Overall, this is a solid premium dog food. If you have a high-energy or active dog, this is definitely worth trying. I would buy it again.

This one is 30/20 protein/ fat and is one you would use for an extremely active sporting dog. Our dog gained weight on it despite being very active. We went to one that is a little lower in protein/fat. It seems to be a good price for the size of bag. Our goal is to keep him at a healthy weight but still support his growth and activity. He’s 2-3 yrs old. Looked at pro plan Purina, it’s pricey.

Good dog food

Though I've been ordering pet supplies from Amazon for a few years, and this is the first time I've written a review. A few months ago, I rescued a golden retriever mix named Bo. He had been living outside in our cold northern climate at his previous home. He was suspicious of everything, didn't have much of an appetite from stress, had a horrible matted coat, and really lacked energy or interest. I tried feeding him this Victor hi pro formula because it was high in protein which I thought would help his energy levels. I also liked Victor because while the ingredient quality is similar to premium brands, it is more reasonable on price. Bo immediately liked the food. He started eating well and gaining energy. Though he is eight, he now runs around and plays like a puppy even chasing his tail. His skin and coat were a mess from sleeping in the dirt at his old home, but now his coat is filling out and looking more full and healthy. I'm sure having a better home is part of his success, but I also think this Victor food is helping him greatly. Bo will be getting his Victor as long as I can help it.
