Is your avene xeracalm cleansing oil clear? if so---it is not from avene. you've been dupped. contact avene immediately.

my product is clear and there is a slit on the bottom of the bottle. i am so pissed. i bought this for my small child to help with his dermatitis from allergies. i am definitely very uneasy about purchasing cosmetics from amazon, particularly luxury beauty products, which avene is considered to be.

Is this intended to be used on the face?

That's what I use it for, but it can be used all over your body. I use it because I have eczema on my face and it's the best face wash I've ever used! I love it!!!

Does anyone use this as the first step of a double cleanse method? Meaning the use this to get makeup/dirt off, then follow up with a foaming cleanser

I actually use this as the second step in my double cleanse. Although this is an oil cleanser, it’s not oily…it bubbles up nicely and does make my skin feel clean, but it does not totally remove my makeup.
