For what it is, it's definitely a serviceable and easy to use trimmer... SPECIFICALLY as a trimmer. I use the trimmer head when I need to/my hair has grown out enough to where it's uncomfortable (i don't use any of the length guards, never had to) primarily for the tough hair down there and leg/arm hair. I don't NEED to shave a lot either, especially because I work a job where I'm required to wear pants, my hair is mostly lighter and thinner, so I can afford to have longer periods of time between shaves. No, the trimmer is NOT going to give a 100% smooth shave as the blades sit a little bit above the skin (which is my preference because I DO NOT want ingrown hairs and I've never gotten any with this trimmer). But, provided that the hair/skin is dry and has no product/not a lot of moisture in it (oil, cream, deodorant, etc) it goes right through the hair every time with no tugging, nicks, or rashes. It struggles a little with armpit hair because of moisture, which is why I use a normal razor there. You just need to hold the trimmer right (flat part of the trimmer flush against the skin), gently spread the skin flat on thinner/more wrinkly/looser skin, and just be careful with crevices. Even then though when I'm not careful like that, again, I've never been nicked or cut by it. But the close shave attachment... DO NOT USE IT. It's basically the same as every other one of those rotary close shave tools i've tried - doesn't cut the hair very well, it pulls, leaves rashes, and sounds like a demon screeching after one use. You're much better off just starting out with the trimmer to take care of the long hairs and using a single blade razor and a normal setup for a close shave. Other than that, it's held up pretty well over the last year - the trimming head is still in great shape, no issues with charging, and the battery lasts through quite a few shaves before it has to be charged again, which I give it at least 4 hours. There's no way i've seen to tell when the battery is full, but it still lasts pretty long when you just guess. Only ever had to brush off the excess hair from the blades as cleaning because I just don't mix water with electronics in any capacity (even if it's just an attachment), and i've never had to clean it with anything else. So definitely manage your expectations with this thing - would highly recommend for people who just HATE the whole ritual of shaving and want to make it a little easier, for people who don't mind not having a completely smooth shave, and those who don't need to shave very often and maybe want to make their hair less noticeable. If you DO want a completely smooth shave, either don't buy this and use the normal tools, or use this only as a trimmer to get you started and let the razor take care of the rest.

First off, this may be TMI but I feel the info needs to be known. 🤫 BIKINI AREA: I got this to shave downstairs and I will say, it gets the job done. It DOES NOT get you baby smooth with zero hair (with the body shaver attachment anyways, if you want baby smooth you can use the circular face attachment). There is still little stubble (SOFT stubble mind you, not hard and gross to touch), which I’m okay with because that’s the look I’m going for. I hate the feeling of hair growing back from absolutely nothing because it irritates my skin and gives me more ingrown hairs that I don’t want to deal with. HOWEVER, if you have a larger caboose, it may be hard to get this in between them cheeks. 🍑 Even in the most awkward positions I can’t seem to get in between my crack to get my back area. Maybe that’s just me idk. Front bikini area works great, it does get into the crevices in the front. But the back by my booty? No go. It is water proof, I was able to use it in the shower just fine. I just tried to avoid getting the charging area in direct water. The noise level is low enough, but using it in the shower my boyfriend might’ve thought something else was going on in there 😏😂 FACE: As embarrassing as it is to admit, I have PCOS so I do grow hair on my chin/neck/sideburns area like a man… it’s been something I’ve had to deal with since my late teen years. I typically use a one blade face shaver, with some oil. But my hair grows back so fast, and with it being in such an obvious location, I was having to shave DAILY which caused a lot of irritation to my neck and I would have razor burn and ingrown hairs. Ouch. With this shaver, I am able to use the circle face hair attachment and I’m shocked with how well it works! The hair on my neck doesn’t even need to be very long for me to get that baby smooth feel! And I can use it daily without causing razor bumps and irritation. Absolutely LOVE for my face/neck!!

Yay! Finally, something that doesn't leave me with razor burn and itching my crotch like a mad woman when nobody is looking. I have horrible reactions to razors and needed something desperately because I don't like looking like a sasquatch during intimacy with my husband (he doesn't care, but I do). I did push a little too hard when I shaved my arm pits and got some mild skin irritation but my bikini line and hard to reach areas are smooth and irritation free. (Don't be me, be gentle!) The trimmer kept up with the thick hairs I needed gone, and the battery lasted. No burning, itching or horrible bumps. Thank god I finally pulled the trigger in getting these. I tossed my razor so fast you have no idea lol. *Update: It still works great! I have less bumps and ingrown hairs. I'm confident with it now so I can breeze through shaving without the worry that I may cut myself or press too hard. I honestly don't think you even can cut yourself with this thing. I do seldom use the precision head for a closer shave since my sensitive skin still gets irritated. I do like using it for my face though! Works great for my upper lip. Battery lasts fine for when I do both my legs, bikini line and armpits. (I'm lazy and only shave when I plan on wearing shorts/bathing suit so my hair is long by the time I shave.) Make sure to keep it clean and don't get the charger port wet and it will last. Maintenance is key.

Makes trimming the bikini area quick and easy. I’m someone who doesn’t like to be completely clean shaven, but very shortly trimmed, because I can’t stand the sweaty feeling of a clean shave, or the terrible itch when the hair is growing back. Gives me exactly what I’m looking for without any cuts or discomfort!

Works well except for the extra close shave head/setting. I may have sensitive skin but that piece causes redness and irritation no matter where I use it. I now just use the other pieces for a quick shave on my legs.
