It does exactly what you'd expect it to do, it was easy to put up and it feels that you'd have to cause significant damage to remove it. I little hook inside to hang a key on would have been helpful for me but I guess for others who perhaps put a bunch of keys inside would find this awkward.The little black thing that you drag down after putting the code in is difficult to use, as they are with other key safes. The mother in law with arthritis in her hands does struggle.

It is a sturdy design and simple to install.I used heftier screws than those supplied and spread the number of bricks used in the fixing so that the fixing was not solely dependent on one brick (for resilience to tampering).The design seems resilient to poor weather - I can judge better after a winter outside.Have not oiled or otherwise tried to make the cogs on the combination lock resistant to water and rust, etc. But I will keep an eye on how it goes over the next year.

Lovely key safe without spending a bomb on it. I do not know how well it will do in rain and weather but the number dial is well protected. Perhaps use a rag, scarf or hanky to wipe off the wet before opening. This is very sturdy and probably as good as or better than the security of most front doors. The more expensive ones are extremely heavy and can be very stiff to remove the waterproof cover. I recommend this one. For it to be better, I think a 5 or 6 combination opening would be nice

Great piece of kit; seems sturdy and secure and really quite discreet in size (which is preferable for my purposes). Couple of fairly minor issues - the fixing screws supplied are 'soft' metal; one of them sheared when screwing in, another spins and won't tighten in the rawl plug; buy and use better quality fixings. The other thing is it would be better if there was a hook to hang key/s on internally.

After locking myself out, twice, I had to have a re think about bothering neighbours. I had heard of this system, and after careful research decided on the Dexter brand product. It was so easy to fit, but the bonus is the strength and finish on this key safe. I feel very confidant that my key will be safe, and waiting for me when I inevitably lock myself out again.Thank you.
