iTouchless 16 Gallon Dual Step Trash Can/Recycle Bin with 2 Odor Filters

This trash can has been the champion of our family by far. I personally found it very easy to clean, and it fits very well in the small kitchen we have! While this did replace a larger trash can which caused us to have to take out trash sooner, the addition of a recycling section in an all-in-one unit that doesn't take up a large footprint has been a blessing. So far it has mostly survived all three kids, but not without minor issues. Bear in mind that the stainless steel model *will* show dents and scratches, so as long as you aren't dragging things across it or smacking things into it hard, this is a non-issue. Obviously for me with 3 kids, I cannot and will not complain because it comes with the territory! One of the shocks has failed, and it looks like the other one is starting to fail as well. It appears the leak is coming out of the top seal where the plunger goes through, so it probably just wore out. After 5 years and literally tens of thousands of times absorbing closing forces... Still not going to complain. That is a great service life for something like this! The interior plastic started to break apart, but I think this is moreso caused by us dropping the containers in. Seeing as how it is only one side, I'll leave that up to you to decide if that is a big deal but it doesn't affect structural rigidity or function so again ... Not going to complain! At the end of the day, it has been a phenomenal investment and easily took the place of a larger trash and smaller separate recycling bin. The only thing I wish is that it would stop sliding around, but some quick sticky pad work made this a non issue. If you are looking for a stylish, durable, trash can than can survive the rigors of kids: this will do the trick. While it does have some minor durability concerns, none of them affected operation - as I type this, I have the kids removed and am sanitizing the cans! A great buy I have never once regretted!

I love this trash can and it fits perfectly in our 1977 “Broom closet”. I Iive in Ventura county, CA, where they will not pick up your bins, 3 separate for recycle, organic, and plain old trash, if you don’t separate properly. These are very convenient for me and use regular kitchen trash bags. No assembly required.

Love the idea of this dual trash/ recycle bin. I wish the trash side was larger than the recycle side. Right now it’s just my husband and I and I feel like I’m taking the trash out every other day which seams like a waste of trash bags since I have so much empty space in the bags when I take it out. I’m using 13 gal trash bags because I still haven’t found a bag I can buy in stores that fits the size of the included trash bin. I also feel like the bags don’t secure super well to the rim, so I can’t stuff the trash as well, but like I said, I am having to use the standard size trash bag. My bin also came with two large dents on the side. Not really sure if it’s worth the price, but I find it difficult to get other people to recycle when the bin isn’t next to the trash can and this was the only one I found aesthetically pleasing. Overall I’m satisfied with my purchase, but I am hoping an affordable option comes out with a larger trash bin and smaller recycle bin.

Awesome product to purchase

After reading the reviews, I was concerned about receiving a dented item. When it arrived, the box was fine but the item was DENTED in multiple spots. I was so bummed! But the replacement request through Amazon was painless: return/replacement request on the app, put the item back in the box, take it to a UPS store, they scan the return code, they print out the shipping label and place it on the box, all done. That’s it. My replacement was delivered two days later and had no dents whatsoever. Some reviewers said that it doesn’t hold a lot of garbage and there was a ton of room in their garbage bag upon pulling it out…I pack my garbage down as I go along and when I pull it out to empty, it’s a full bag. Happy I spent an outrageous amount of money on a garbage/recycle bin!

Love these trashcans . I bought (2) of them to mirror in my art studio . Was one of the first big purchases I made after my divorce . And I love them . I decided to spray paint them ( GOLD) both inside and out . My kiddos have a habit of running into things. And the reviews said they sent easy . Soo, I came up with a solution for that . I have them standing on the top parts .. instead . And I use the empty space now as the containers to keep trashbags . I like it better this way. Feels more minimal . And efficient

Good trash can. However, after unboxing the item, it already has a few dents. Quite disappointed considering you spend high money to receive damage. I still kept it, because I needed a trash/recycle can. Please add more protection for when this item is on route for delivery or simply being transferred. Overall the trash can operates fine and smoothly.

The item is just what I wanted. It is small enough for the space I needed and I can still get a week of garbage in it. It is clean looking and works well.

Great quality, don't feel like a cheap one, big enough basket and very helpful to have 2 separated baskets as well. Great quality pedal, big enough to step without looking for the spot. Tide closing, PLUS! I did not realize but it has S<ELL FILER under the covering to catch up smell and don't release to the air. Great fixture! Need to buy more filters and enjoy fresh air around garbage container in my kitchen
