Worked fine for a few months, then packed up, random lights flashing so it’s not worth the risk, straight in the skip, bought a genuine one now.

I treated myself to some new Makita tools but didn't want to pay Makita prices for the batteries and chargers, so I bought one of these and it works.

Charges, not as solid a charge as an original unit, run time is noticeably lower. Still not bad for price

Defeats the object of having a double charger - might as well have bought the Makita single. I can charge 2 x 5ah batteries on my single Makita charger in the time this can charge 2 x 5ah batteries 3/4 way.

Only down side is it’s slow to charge batteries

Brilliant and so much cheaper then the brand named version , very happy with it
