Replaced iRobot Roomba and it's SO much better
I originally bought a Roomba 405, but it was faulty. Didn't want another iRobot product, so I picked this, the reviews say Dreame are on track to be the biggest hone robot manufacturer in the world. The machine just works. It mops and cleans, then goes back to its dock. There's very little to do, the vacuum bag is good for 2 months, the clean water lasts weeks and the dirty water even longer. I was able to buy spares (not used them yet), decent price and lots of options. Because it uses Lidar and doesn't just bump into stuff like my old Roomba, it's way quieter, just 10 seconds of noise when it empties out the bin at the end. The App is very good, easier to set up than the iRobot, just as much functionality. My only complaint is, it's not as intuitive. OK once you get used to it. All in, I'm quite pleased with this and much prefer it to the iRobot 405.

Absolutely fantastic with my border collie.
I finally caved and bought a robot vacuum after my mobility got so bad I was no longer able to vacuum I tried three or four robot vacuums before I tried to dream l10s Gen 2 it's incredibly impressive for the money it picks up even the thickest of dog hair clamps. He had no problem dealing with the shed when my dog was dropping her winter coat recently. I had a problem with the side brush though, so I was going to send this back and bought the Gen 3 as an upgrade. What a terrible choice that was! The Gen 3 was absolutely useless compared to this, which is supposed to be the lesser spec previous gen. I managed to get the side brush fixed on the Gen 2 so send back the gen 3 and have kept my old fateful Gen 2. The Gen 3 is useless. It wouldn't pick up the dog. He's got constantly jammed. The base station isn't powerful enough to empty the waistband on the vacuum, so I ended up having to do it by hand which defeats the purpose of a base. And the washboard doesn't clean the pads and traps dog hair. Honestly save your money and buy this vacuum instead of the newer model.

Works well and surprisingly agile navigating floors of differing levels.
I bought this to replace a Eufy L60 hybrid machine which works fine as a vacuum but the mop function is hopeless. The Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2 is quite a step up. It's mapping function is clearly superior allowing me to place markers for furniture within the room, set virtual walls and no-go zones. Another function I found by luck is the ability to jump over "virtual thresholds" (like floor joins with different levels). The option is hidden away somewhat, in the "Ground Environment" section of the map editor. The Eufy would balk at anything over a cm or so but this will quite happily climb up 2.5cm if you tell it to expect it (if you don't it gets confused particularly if there's a sharp drop - it assumes a cliff-edge). This function is so good that I managed to put a simple wooden ramp just wide enough for the robot, from a step 14cm high, down into my living room. I set the virtual threshold at either side of the ramp, forced it to go up and down it a few times (using manual override controls) then let it clean the room. Now it will happily trundle out to the living room and down & up the ramp. I'm delighted about that. I have quite a lot of hard wood floors so mopping is important. It does a pretty good job on day-to-day dirt. I set it to mop every day for 2 weeks and each day the waste water was less dirty and the floors looked great. It won't do automatic spot-cleaning though so if you spill something nasty, it's probably not going to clean it all up in one session, though it probably will over time. Like all robots, cables and socks are its kryptonite. Get in the habit of picking these things up before you start a clean or you'll be constantly retrieving these items from the roller brush (or getting home to a dirty floor because it got stuck). But generally speaking, object avoidance is pretty good - better than the Eufy I'd say. It does seem to learn where it's likely to get stuck and is a bit more cautious next time but it doesn't always work. I have 2 Ikea Poang chairs that sit together but the "feet" are slightly apart. It climbed up one of them and managed to suspend itself just high enough so it couldn't touch the ground. End of session... The silent mode is pretty quiet but not great at picking up, the maximum mode is very noisy but does a much better job on carpets. Take your pick. All in, I'm quite pleased with the unit and it does my entire downstairs, including the room with a 14cm step down which is a big pleasant surprise. The Eufy has been relegated to the upstairs, which is maily carpet.

Good product, but there are better out there for Pet Owners
Originally rated this product 2 stars. However after playing around with the settings and using it for a few days, I've updated my rating to 4 stars. I have 2 large highly shedding dogs (a long haired GSD and Rough Collie so the hairs are endless!) The L10s did a relatively good job vacuuming, however the robot did have some trouble returning to the docking station at the beginning. I set the bot down about 5 feet away from the docking station and it still couldn't locate it at one point! I have been noticing this is happening less often now and it seems to be getting better at finding its way home. Performance wise, it did a pretty good job vacuuming (better than the Roborock QV35S which really surprised me as the Roborock has the better write up about cleaning dog fur on all surfaces), but the Dreame L10s did have to go over the mats quite a few times compared to the Eufy L60, which out of the 3 i found to be the most effective at cleaning dog hair on both hardfloors and mats/carpets (a plus seeing as it is also the cheapest by a considerable amount!) I would say all in all the Dreame L10 Ultra Gen 2 lifted about 90-95% of the dog hair on mats/carpets. On hard floors, it worked great and the customisation options in the app are a plus along with the mopping which i thought worked well and didn't leave the floor too wet. The self cleaning of the pads and the self-empting all worked well and without issue. All in all this is a great bot and in my opinion much better on mats and carpets than the Roborock Qrevo QV35s. However, as a dog owner of 2 large fluffballs, my main priority is how a bot cleans dog fur on all surfaces, and as I mentioned, I found the considerably cheaper Eufy L60 superior at this. Although this bot does have other compromises such as a lot less app customisation options and it tends to bump into things much more than the Roborock and Dreame offerings. All in all, good product but not good enough at lifting the dog hairs. Im looking into getting a Eufy X8 Pro instead, hoping performs similarly to the L60 at vacuuming, but with a little more to offering in terms of navigation and app features.

Great gadget, smart and super simple to use
With the modern day comes all the modern gadgets. This robot vacuum cleaner is no exception. It practically becomes a most used machine in the household. I have a dog so cleaning dog hair is a constant battle. The comfort of using this robot vacuum remotely via mobile app is genius. Before I would finish at work I set everything up on the app and by the time I’m home he hoovered and mopped the floors. It is very quiet so it can work even when you’re sleeping. Have a massive dust collection inside its housing so once finished cleaning he self empties and also washes the mopping pads after use. The set up is very easy and the app is straightforward and easy too. It roams around your house nicely and quietly scanning the floor and once have a floor plan it is ready to go. Also it is easily going over obstacles as the robot lifts up if it needs to get on or off carpets etc

Life changer!! Love it.
We have the hoover for 6+ months now, and it's really amazing!!! It took some time to fully learn it but it's not too complicated either. Honestly, a life changer for us as a couple. Only wish now we got black one instead but it's not a big deal. The suction modes are perfect, even on a quiet one it cleans really well. And the mopping is amazing too. We don't have pets but I believe there's also a dreame for pets in a separate offer. 100 % recommend it.

Much improved over Gen 1
I had a gen 1 of these which I loved until one of the valves went and it leaked water every time the robot left the base station - it was a reluctant return as I found articles stating how to fix it, but it was within the returns period so I sent it back. I then decided to try another brand to see if I was missing out - switched to a Eufy model and yearned for the Dreame! I decided to return the Eufy and this time go for the next generation, and honestly using this is like sending its “cousin” away for a few months to then receive a bigger and more capable bot (despite looking very similar!). The tanks are much bigger for the water making it last longer without needing to be topped up. Dreame have done away with the single use detergent cartridges and instead have a removable reservoir you can top up when low. Using the robot there is now a lot more automation in the app and the maps are customisable with furniture to track what permanent obstacles there are on the map. The core function (cleaning!) is much improved too - vacuuming is more powerful while being quieter, whilst the results from mopping are incredible; I now feel like this combination would mean only having to do a proper clean on the tiles (they are textured so need a deep clean) every week rather than almost daily. For those questioning the time saving - I agree it is quicker for me to get out a hoover and do the room myself, but the point of this is more about having something else that can take the effort away for you. This is much better than the generation 1 that I loved and I would definitely recommend to others
