Great starter fountain pen gift for a reasonable price.
This is an excellent gift item for anyone who loves stationary, particularly pens. Shipping was very quick and was packaged well. The case was very professional looking and you will be proud to carry it with you at any business meetings. Both the pens wrote smoothly. My son took the roller ball pen for his professional work because of the way it looks and writes well. I used the fountain pen for a few days. I liked the fact that while it was professional looking, the pen also wrote well. I could keep the pen open for a while (eg. when I am processing my thoughts) and the ink still flowed through well. In some pens, I would have to reink the nib before it will start writing. I didn't have that problem with this pen. I do wish the I could place the cap of the pen on the back of the pen because I am prone to losing the caps for my pens. You can't really do that with this pen. All in all, it is a great buy for the price point.
