Perfect size for soup or cereal. Corelli is so sturdy and dependable. Quality totally consistent. Red edge makes them look a bit higher end, very cute. Dishwasher safe — so easy — and also microwave safe, essential! Love em. Recommend.

It's funny...we've had these plates for about a month now and I still don't like to use them because they feel like the "special plates" that's reserved for company. They are GORGEOUS in person and so far they've held up really well, so I'd give them six stars if I could at the price. The design on these plates is slightly raised and that worried me, but I've scrubbed a few in the sink and they come away looking good as new. They've also been thru the dishwasher at least a dozen times and there's no chips, crack or anything like that, so I have a feeling that they'll last a long time. We haven't dropped one yet so I'm not sure if they're really shatter-proof as stated (I won't eat a sandwich off them...so I'm definitely not going to drop one on purpose!). But so far all is well. In terms of size, I think they're slightly larger than traditional dinner plates, but it's tough to tell since they're squared off. There is a round area in the center of the plate though so they stack well and are easy to hold onto (if you like walking around when you eat dinner, maybe?!?). All that said, I'm thrilled with this purchase and this will be our brand several years into the future. I have already ordered a 2nd set so we can phase out our older plates.

Lightweight, dishwasher safe, easy to use in microwave and holds a good size of food. I haven't dropped one so don't know if it would break but they seem good quality and look nice.

I got these plates to add to the Corell set I have. I love the design & the colors. As usual nothing beats Corelli products. The price was excellent.

I love these. However I should have measured them. They are just a little too big to turn in the microwave

My wife wanted some lightweight bowls to heat up soups and small servings of food. Our current dishes are heavy, and it is hard for her to lift out of the cabinets. She saw these and wanted to try them out. They are very light and thin. They do not seem to heat up as much when warming things up in the microwave as when I use the other types of bowls. Because they are so light and thin, it makes me feel like I am going to break them, but they seem to be holding up really well. I guess I will know how strong they are as I get more relaxed with them and bang them around more. They are larger than what I would consider a cereal bowl. Although if you eat a lot of cereal (more than 3-4 "official serving sizes" as I do) at a time, these will work great. My wife loves them, so then I do also.

The only thing I have a problem with concerning Corelle bowls is that they are somewhat pricey at around $8.50 a dish, but for what they do, I'm personally okay with the cost. They are virtually unbreakable, they/re easy to clean and never become stained, and can go in an oven, microwave, dishwasher, or freezer. I became so dissatisfied with the chipped and broken ceramic dishes, and ugly stained and heat scared plastic bowls that I'm now gradually switching everything over to Corelle ware. Plus, I just found out that they even make silicone lids to fit the bowls for refrigerator storage, although they too are a little pricey at about $4.50 per lid. However, I do recommend this bowl, cost and all.
