RYZE Organic Mushroom Chai Tea with 6 Adaptogenic Mushrooms, 20 Servings

I was completely skeptical at first. I had been looking at Ryze for months, but never ordered it because of all the bad reviews. Finally I decided to just take a chance and ordered the coffee, creamer, and matcha set, then the cocoa and chai ones as well. WOW!! I was amazed. No, I’m not getting paid to say that, no I didn’t get this for free or even at a discount. I just truly was amazed. For the record, I HATE mushrooms. It is the one food I absolutely will not eat, but I also deal with a lot of bloating, low energy levels, trouble focusing, and alcohol dependency. I was willing to try just about anything to help with those issues. Also, it should be noted that I have a deep appreciation for things like dark, black coffee, herbal teas, and matcha. All that being said, LOVE the flavor of all three of these!!! I have been drinking them for nearly a month now and I have noticed an increase in energy that is also sustained through my entire night shift job. My mental clarity and focus have improved as has my outlook in general. I feel so much better!! I have been drinking three cups of this a day. I have one with the coffee and creamer, then I have one with the matcha. When I get home from work, instead of reaching for a beer, I make one of the hot cocoa Ryze. While I have not noticed a weight loss or significant reduction in bloating, I have noticed a huge decrease in my alcohol consumption. The cravings for beer are almost completely gone. I have gone from drinking five 12 packs of beer a week to just one 12 pack. I hope to be able to completely stop drinking alcohol. A couple of things to keep in mind if you are thinking about trying this: 1) of you like frilly Starbucks style coffee with enough syrup, sugar, and creamer to put you in a diabetic coma, YOU WILL NOT LIKE THIS. 2) if you like black coffee and teas with little to no sugar, YOU WILL PROBABLY LOVE THIS. 3) when making it, use a measuring spoon, not the cute little wooden stirring spoon they send you. The recommended amount is 1 tablespoon, not 1 stirring spoon. If you use the cute little spoon they send instead of a real measuring tablespoon, it will taste incredibly watered down and nasty. Make sure you are using a full tablespoon. 4) DO NOT microwave any of these products!!!!!!!!! Put the tablespoon of powder in a cup and pour hot water over it!! If you microwave the powder it destroys the flavor!!!!! 5) keep stirring as you drink!! I only use a spoon to stir the drink, but I stir it each time before I take a sip. This keeps any residue from settling at the bottom of the cup and leaving the “sludge” that so many reviews mention. All of this being said, I find the flavors of all of these to be very delicious and relaxing. I do add extra cocoa powder and Splenda to the hot cocoa one, but that is the only one I add anything to. I know these are expensive, but the improvements in my health and wellbeing as well as the decrease in alcohol cravings make this worth every penny in my book. Each person’s journey will be different, but I highly recommend Ryze. Just remember, it takes more than one cup a day to get actual benefits, stir, stir, stir, stir, stir, and never ever microwave!!! I really hope this review helps anyone who might be on the fence or wondering if this is worth trying.

It tastes really good! Wish there was a bit more spice to the flavor, but it’s a good drink with benefits! I love the coffee to wake up and the chai seems like a good blend for bed time.

(Wifey here) … My favorite mushroom coffee (chai) brand. I have a subscription through the company and ran out before my next batch was shipped. Amazon to the rescue! Just look at the cute box and spoon! Plus a free creamer. Im also showing how I store it — got the wood container through a promo purchase directly from Ryze. I tend to mix this chai with their coffee. It’s so good!!

I find the flavor to be very mild for a chai, so add in my own additional spices, but the flavor is good (nothing mushroomy about it) and my energy levels feel more stable throughout the day. I've set up a recurring subscription. Unfortunately, every single bag comes with a wooden spoon I don't want and they're starting to pile up. Please skip the spoon for subscribe and save customers and take a little more money off instead.

This is the first time I've tried a mushroom drink and I ordered the Chai and a Matcha (which I haven't tried yet). The Chai has a good Chai taste, although a little gritty. I let the grit settle and don't drink it. It is good with whipped cream, which is the only cream I have on hand so I tried it. The first time I tried it I felt queasy for a while, but not since then. I've added it to black tea and it was good that way as well. I see some bad reviews where people added it to things like peppermint tea? What's up with that? Peppermint in my opinion would be incompatible with the taste of the cinnamon spices, but what do I know. I also saw a bad review where they added it to coffee. I don't think that is compatible with the black tea that is already in the mix, either. But, just my opinion. I do not like the packaging, because it is difficult to measure out a tablespoon of the stuff when you dip the measuring spoon into a pouch. Other than that, I think it is okay. I don't know if I'll buy again, but I am satisfied with what I bought. For me, it was an experiment.

Anything from Ryze company taste best once you use a frother. It mixes the powders so well that it doesn’t settle once it sits. I drink the coffee in the morning and the chai at night. The chai is my absolute favorite. The flavor is exquisite and I look forward to my daily evening treat. I really wish they would go down on the price a little because I buy so many and it truly does add up.

So we know mushrooms have a lot of health benefits, but it is never going to taste like chai tea, but this is a solid 4 stars. No problem drinking it. You do need to continue to stir to avoid residue at the bottom. Nice packaging. A little pricey for 20 servings.
