Worked perfect for separately usage for a duplex. Reading x 264 = gallons used.

Great for well water or rainwater plumbing systems with no metering
I have this on my rainwater plumbing system that feeds my house with captured rainwater. The water is pressurized in a well water pressure tank via a shallow well pump. Then the I have the water line run from the pressure tank through some filters and this meter to the house. I installed it with a bypass loop in case it needs servicing so I can keep water going to the house if I have to remove it. It just ticked over the first cubic meter of water passing through it. I made sure to note they date it was installed so I can keep track of the water usage over time. I did have a leak after I installed it that came from one of the gasket rings that seals the brass union fittings that come with it. Turned out the gasket wasn't seated correctly and got pinched. I was able to solve it by undoing it and placing it correctly before tightening. After that I had no leaks. It's been working well so far, and I haven't noticed any drop in flow to the house since adding it. If you're familiar with basic plumbing it is very simple to install but I definitely recommend adding a bypass loop so it can be bypassed if needed. I'm pretty happy with it and looking forward to tracking how much water gets used in my rainwater system.

Simple, clear and hassle-free (no electronics) item, at least after you succeed in installing it properly. There is a conceptual flaw in the water tightening system. If you tighten it a bit too much, the rubber gasket just wrinkles, and water sprouts out. Shoulders to support the gasket would have been nice to avoid this problem. The item was sent complete and on time, properly protected in its box. I'm using it for a water consumption of about 100 l/day and it seems to be working fine (only 2 weeks since installation).
