Walker and Hawkes Wax Winchester Gilet for Men – Water-Resistant Wax Cotton Bodywarmer with Corduroy Collar and Tartan Lining

I bought this as a less expensive alternative to a Barbour vest! The pros are it’s well made and warm, it looks great, and is comfortable. The only slight con is its touch blousey. But not too much. I did have my tailor alter it a bit to make it a bit more fitted! I did wash and dry it which made it a better fit as well however you’ll need to re wax it if you go this route. I have waxed several jackets and vests and I understand the process which isn’t hard at all but a bit of a process. Again not bad though. The vest fits incredibly well now and is again an excellent option to Barbour! For way less! I love Barbour but the price point can be daunting. I’ve even had someone ask if it’s a Barbour. There are several colors and I’ll likely get the OD green one as well! I found this vest fairly true to size but had ordered the XL initially because of reviews saying it ran small. I didn’t find that to be the case and returned the XL for my usual Large. Again though I like things more fitted so I had it altered. That said it’s a great vest!

Jacket is great quality. Zipper seems strong and durable. Sizing is not U.S.A. so size up a size or two if from U.S.A.

Better than the first waxed vest I ordered. Runs small. Ordered 2XL for layers underneath. Not a USA 2XL. Hand warmer pockets lined with nylon, should be the same flannel lining as the vest. Lining only cover 2/3 of the inside of vest. Inside pocket is nice but no closer device. Will add Velcro

This is a great value for a wax cloth vest.

Perfect for slightly chilly days wher you don’t need a winter coat. True to size, warm and comfortable.

I’ve combine this with a Walker and Hawks outer waxed coat, and together they work well against New England cold.

Il gilet è un ottimo capo. Ho acquistato diversi prodotti di questa marca e non sono stato mai deluso. La ceratura è buona e la stoffa è resistente e leggermente imbottita per cui puó essere indossato nelle mezze stagioni. La taglia M mi calza bene. Peso 85 kg e sono alto 170 cm.

Great body warmer and quality

İngiliz malı, kalıbı güzel,kumaşı iyi waxlanmış. Çok iyi bir fermuar var. Sweatshirt veya kazakla göğüs çapınızı ölçüp bedeninizi Seçin. 1.80 cm boy, 120 cm göğüs çapına 2XL aldım çok rahat oldu. Ama fit biraz daha dar isteniyorsa XL de olur. Kaliteli yelek tavsiye ederim.

Excelente chaleco, muy útiles los bolsillos, si son delgados compren una talla menor, ya que es bastante amplio sobre todo en el área de abdomen.
