What is in a survey
The light is pretty bright.. I personally feel that these led lights should all have some kind of settings feature, even if it is just dim /bright/blue/white/both Or Dim/Bright. As for the light, the picture makes the light seem wider than it is. This is not a very wide light at all if you consider the actual area of light output. This is under 1.5 inches wide but it is 7 inches long. I purchased this light to replace a different LED that went nuts and started having it's own disco flashback with the settings. It intended for a 7.5 gal cube.. so roughly 11x11x11. The light was not able to support the 3 live plants that had been in the tank for some time. So I moved it to try to light a pair of 1.5 gal cube tanks instead.. It could do that task if the flex neck had more play to it. As it is right out of the box it is pretty stiff..it lights one of the tanks very well and the other MEH.. So conclusion for me is that it is a good solid light but if you try to take it the least bit out of it's comfort zone make sure you are not depending on it to keep plants alive.. It gave off a nice mid range mellow lighting for the 7.5 gal tank. I just happen to be needing to grow those plants for the fish in the tank. I like this light for the price and I am pondering if I want to buy another or TRY others. OH and the 1 star for suction.. I haven't got a bloody clue what that is about. There isn't anything on my light that has anything to do with suction.

Nice little light but not quite bright enough for some tanks
Nice little light especially for the price. Criticism isn’t due to the product itself but more how I used it, which I should have anticipated. It was nice and bright when I had light gravel and my small swords seems to like it, but pretty dim with black substrate, I will have to swap it for something brighter on that tank. I used it for a 5.5 gallon standard tank and it doesn’t provide quite enough coverage (16 in width) and would probably be better in a tank not quite as long. The light itself is attractive and would be great if I didn’t have live plants in black substrate. If you do live plants I’d recommend light substrate. I also had to cut out part of the rim of my tank which wasn’t a big deal for me but may be for some people. Overall a nice little light that I’ll probably use on another tank, just need something brighter for what I have.

I would recommend ,great light
I’ve bought three of these for planted vase aquariums. The seller is quick and they are well packed. I love how you can flip them up out of the way when you clean the bowl. This one shown had a small flaw but still works beautifully, the seam won’t stay snapped shut. The seller responded with in one day and send a partial refund. I would but again!!

Great budget light!
I don't write normally wright reviews, but I really like this light.Pros1. Affordable.2. My plants in my 5 gallon nano tank grow very well under this light.3. It uses a actual physical switch, so it will work with a timer. (Some "touch" switches don't work with timers, returning to their off state when the timer cuts the power.)4. The flexible arm works very well and holds its position.5. Has a blue light option. (That I don't really use, but it's there.)Cons1. The power cord could be a tiny bit longer.2. The clamp isn't the tightest, but it holds.

Nah.
This thing can only go on tanks that don't have the lips or whatever they're called. Mine actually ended up falling into my tank and almost killed my axolotls. It leaked rust and stuff when I took it out. It's not too bright, but it has different settings so that's at least cool. Would not recommend, though

Good for price
Good for what I need it for. Not super bright but I don’t have live plants so it’s not an issue. The light was easy to install and the neck is sturdy no matter which position you have the light in. The the cord is somewhat short, so you’ll need to have an outlet near-by.

Nice strong light
I have an EcoQube but the stock LEDs are rather dim especially if you have the cube in a dark area of your home. This light screws on to the shaft of the light assembly to increase the stock lighting so I can enjoy my betta much better. He seems to be happier with the brighter lighting as well, blowing more bubbles into his bubble bed.

Good Light, Bad mechanism for Attaching to Tank
The light is bright and provides ample lighting for any small fish tank. However, I was disappointed by the mechanism used for attaching it to the tank. The clamp is not very wide, which means if you have a small lip on your tank to support your lid, this light WILL NOT work for you. I can't even force it over the lip of my particular tank without fear of breaking either the light or the tank. I would highly recommend this light if you only have a glass side of the tank without a lip. However, any other kind of tank, find a different lighting mechanism. Other complaint is that the cable is short (~3ft).

Good light but miss couple of things...
The idea of the light is good (reminds me the Nicrew led light that I have for my 10 gal. aquarium). Execution is lacking. The power adapter electric cord is short. The brightness is a bit dim. A bit more power (2W-3W) and they wouldn't have competition in this price range. Making sure that the angle of the leds is close to 120 degrees. Since my temporary/Sick fish aquarium is cube shape (10"x10"x10") then it suits my demands. I am not sure it will hold for rectangle aquarium. My very low demanding plants live well with this light so I am happy with that.

Decent
Got this for a 5g betta tank with 1 anubias plant. It was okay, especially for the price. I upgraded to a Aqueon clip light that I got for ~42 bucks from Big Als on boxing day (probably regular price around 48 bucks). I like my Aqueon light a lot more. But again, this product for the price wasn't bad. Just found it a little on the dimmer than I wanted side. Other than that, good build quality and super easy to use.

Great little light.
This little light is pretty powerful for the amount of light it puts off. I have it on my 10g fish tank. All of the plants in my tank are flourishing. I would recommend but not for a bigger tank.
