I’ve had many different brands of perilla oil, and by far, this one is the freshest! This oil is extracted from organic, raw perilla seeds grown and harvested, also cold processed and packaged in South Korea. Using raw seeds with cold pressed is critical to extract healthy oil because roasted seeds become oxidized during the roasting process and cause inflammation when consumed. I like the fact that it comes in a dark glass bottle to preserve its potency. I’m diabetic and managing it without meds, but only with food and exercise, so I pay a lot of attention on everything I eat. I pour it over my veggies and cooked brown rice like I would with olive oil, and eat it slowly and chew until the food becomes like juice. I’v noticed a significant difference with my glucose going up very slowly so I can enjoy my meal. I’m also pour it over sliced apple. Do not use this oil for cooking with heat. The empty bottles come in handy as I pour the Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Costco. I’m subscribing it for regular shipment!

The label on the bottle shows raw sesame oil and made in China in Korean. I used Google translate to translate Korean to English. This oil is raw sesame oil. I want to return it but I don't get a option to return it on Amazon website.

This is not perilla oil, it labeled as sesame oil ！

Very healthy, but also very tasty: this one is the light, RAW perilla oil, not the toasted one which tastes a bit like toasted sesame oil ans ia great on Korean noodles. This light, raw oil can be used on noodles, but has a lighter taste. It can be used on desserte and does not overpower the dish as the toasted oil can. Raw, it has more Omega-3 than the toasted one. Fantastic!

Smells really nice and taste better than Ottogi.
