Is good for the yard without too much smell. Seems watery but it does the job and doesn't leave an after film on the surface. . But I miss the old thick product

Excellent disinfectant
Good quality disinfectant. That is ideal for drains, paths or anywhere as a household disinfectant cleanser. The smell is pleasant and easy to dilute.

Diluted
Just has good as the undiluted jayes. There's no smell with the diluted, making it better for your nose. Nice size too. This making the jayes diluted better value and giving a better price.

It Works
A bit of a mistake on my part. I thought I'd ordered, the far better neat product, (which I've got another of now). This works OK, just depends on the concentration you need.

No longer has dark and strong-selling dye. Just read manufacturer notes on the product page.
I have used Jeyes fluid for many years, as did my parents before me. I am very used to the dark brown appearance and the strong smell - which somehow felt reassuring to me. The product has been changed slightly, the dye is no longer added, and it is now almost odourless. At first I wondered if I had been sent some sort of counterfeit item. However, on the Product page here, the manufacturer "blurb" states "We have removed the dye from our formula to ensure the product can be used across light coloured surfaces with no fear of staining. This hasn’t impacted the product performance." I use it for disinfecting/deodorising my food-waste bin and wheelie bins, and numerous other uses. It seems to work just as effectively as the old dark-coloured version used to.
