Fossil Women's Rachel Satchel Bag

I love Fossil products. I purchased this purse at a great price and received many compliments on it. I love having the brown leather strap handles as well as a shoulder strap. Well made, received in a timely manner and it is a very classy looking bag. It is just the right size and the zipper works fine. It is a well designed purse and looks great. I’ve been using a fossil backpack for over a year now and it held up really well to my abuse. I wanted to downsize because my kids are older and I just don’t have a need for as much stuff in my purses.Pros: it feels like fossil quality, which I’ve always found to be fantastic for the price you pay. I’m the type to carry one purse daily and only switch to smaller bags for special occasions where I don’t need all my stuff, so it needs to be solid and well made. This has plenty of space for all my little needs-wallet, first aid kit, hygiene pouch, pill container and all the other little odds and ends fit nicely with room to spare. It’s a classic black leather bag and looks nice and understated.Cons: the only cons are just my personal preferences. The little carrying straps can only be held in your hand or slung on your forearm, if you want to carry on your shoulder you have to use the long strap that came with and frankly digs in uncomfortably. I like satchel style bags but tote straps. But I knew when I ordered that that would probably be the case.

One of my favorite Fossil .. This is my daily bag. 2 pockets inside and outside . Nice zipper , you can adjust trap . I like the inside lining looks very classy !!

Love this purse!! It is a crossbody but stuff does not fall to bottom. The inside is a lighter color so you can see. Side pockets are perfect for phone.

There was one review that said this bag is the perfect large capacity small purse which is exactly what I was looking for, and that's exactly what this handbag is. I'm not much of a purse person– I actually haven't been using one for years but I've been tired of making due just carrying my phone/wallet in my hands. If I was going to buy a purse for the first time in a 5 years I wanted it to be a nice one. So here! I did the deciding for you:The design and shape is nice and casual but so clean and professional looking. It feels luxurious but not too flashy. I love the handles and i thought i wouldn't like them sticking up all the time– now I'd prefer it. The zippers and interior are nice, and look at how much stuff can fit inside. It fits a tablet and huge headphone case, sunglass case, small notebook, large wallet, room for my phone, keys and lil spaces to spare. It's like a mini (but structured) duffel bag which I love for sitting next to me on a desk or car seat so it's easily open and accessible; exactly the style I wanted.I think this Fossil bag would make an extremely nice gift to anyone with a structured but casual style. The only tip I'd add is that the thin strap does dig in (soft girls) and isn't comfortable when the bag is filled for a long day out. Bag was bigger than expected but still okay, turned out handy for me to stuff some baby essentials in. Leather isn't too stiff so it does have a tendency to lose a bit of its shape/bend in, hoping to find a shaper that can help hold its shape. The zips go all the way around to almost the bottom though the inner lining goes about halfway the side so things don't spill out. The compartments are useful (inner - zip on one side, 2 open pockets on the other) and the slits on either side are useful to drop your phone in. Would have preferred if there was another loop to secure the adjustable strap so the tail doesn't flap out. No key. Overall happy with this.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this bag to replace a similar Fossil crossbody that finally wore out. This "Rachel" bag is very similar to the one I replaced it with, except it's roomier inside, it has two outside pockets (instead of one) and the pockets are deeper (deep enough for my iPhone 15 Pro Max to fit without sticking out), and there are two inside pockets instead of one. The inside zipper compartment is about the same size as my previous Fossil bag.I love crossbody bags to keep my purse always close to me. Whenever I want to carry it by the handles or drape it at my elbow, I can carry it that way too. (My old Fossil bag was the same).Because of the colors, I can use this bag everyday. That was why I was first attracted to this Rachel bag. It's a beautiful black with rich caramel brown accents. The Fossil it's replacing was black, brown and tan so the Rachel was close enough and just a beautiful purse.I like leather purses because they last longer. I also like designer bags that I don't pay designer prices for. I got this Rachel bag for $100 off on Amazon and I got about the same discount for the old one I bought at a discount store. I took a chance that I could find a similarly styled Fossil bag as that one on Amazon and I did. I was doubly pleased at the discounted price as well.
