Great color product
Love this. Virtually no harsh smells. Color came out beautifully. Though I dont think it covered AlL of my grays. But overall beautiful color.

Excellent hair color (8N)
A year ago, I tried to dye my completely gray hair with a Garnier Nutrisse box dye--what a joke, all it did was damage my hair. Then, I tried going to a salon to get my hair "properly" colored. The hair stylist was clearly high, and I left with my hair looking worse than when I walked in. Then I went to another salon to get the color "corrected" and paid an exorbitant sum for no real improvement. I have to look professional, so I took matters into my own hands. I carefully researched my options and found IGK. So, I very nervously and skeptically applied it to the disaster on my head and was very pleasantly surprised. The color is darker than what I expected, but it's beautiful, natural-looking, and my hair doesn't feel significantly damaged. It covered my 100% gray roots because I made sure to coat them well and left it on for the full 45 minutes suggested for stubborn grays. The Amazon IGK listings have charts so that you can see what to expect with different colors on gray hair, so I would definitely look at those before choosing a shade. My only tiny gripe is that it was hard to mix properly by simply shaking the bottle. Next time I'm going to stir it around in the bottle a little first with a takeout chopstick and then shake it. Note: If you have a lot of long thick hair, you'll definitely need more than one kit. I don't have lots of hair, so this worked fine for me.

Great color as described
Took to my damaged bleached ends quickly but I probably should’ve left on my roots longer. My own fault, if you bleached your hair and try to fix it with this it’s good but probably gonna add some semi perm or toner to my roots = surf club

was the product tampered with?
I've been consistently using the same shade of IGK hair color for years, but my recent experience with a new package was quite disappointing. The developer was packaged in a bag, and unfortunately, the product leaked out into it. I wondered if the manufacturer changed their packaging. Despite finding this unusual, I decided to proceed with the application. Regrettably, that turned out to be a mistake. In an attempt to salvage the leaked developer, I followed the instructions to mix the color and developer together and applied it to my hair. Around 20 minutes into the processing time, I checked the color, only to discover it had taken on a strange dark orangy-green hue. Undeterred, I continued processing for the recommended 40 minutes. Upon rinsing the color out, I noticed that my hair was darker than usual, but that was something I could live with, assuming it would correct itself in the next touch-up in a few weeks. However, after washing and styling, I observed that my hair appeared fried, with excessive hair loss. Strands were falling out in alarming quantities, and I've even developed a couple of bald spots at my hairline. Initially, I attributed the hair loss to the changing seasons here in Arizona, but after several weeks, considering the worsening condition of my hair, I am genuinely concerned about the contents of the developer bottle. My hair has become extremely dry, frizzy, and laden with split ends, making it challenging to even comb through. Given this experience, I've decided never to order my hair color through Amazon again. I suspect the possibility of tampering with the hair color kit I received, which has resulted in significant damage to my hair.

Nice cool blonde color with surprisingly soft results
I’ve tried a lot of at-home hair dye kits, and this one definitely felt a little more salon-inspired than most drugstore options. The color came out really pretty — a soft cool blonde that helped tone down brassiness without looking flat or overly ashy. The kit itself was easy to use and came with everything needed, which made the process less intimidating. I especially liked the post-color treatment because it left my hair feeling softer and shinier than expected after coloring. Coverage was pretty good overall, including on lighter gray strands, though I did notice a few stubborn grays still peeking through near my roots. The formula also didn’t have the super strong ammonia smell that a lot of permanent dyes have, which was a huge plus. I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because the color was slightly brassy in some areas, and if your hair is darker or previously colored, you may not get the exact shade shown on the box in one application. Still, the results looked natural and healthy, and I’d probably purchase it again.

Excellent blonde in a bottle!
The blonde is not brassy at all. Gray is covered perfectly. My hair feels amazingly soft and healthy. My hair is shoulder length and fine and one box was plenty of coverage. I like it much better than Maddison Reed brand. No harsh chemical smells at all. I will use again!!

Eh.
There was enough in one package to cover my somewhat thick, shoulder length hair. I probably should have gotten two just to feel better, but it did cover all of my hair. I don't think having two would have helped, everything was pretty saturated. Nonetheless, I did use all of the product. I left it on for the suggested time - which I would suggest you make sure you have time for. I was thinking 20 minutes, but it was more like 45, which surprised me. I would also suggest that you get a shower bonnet or some sort of cover to wear while while it processes. Luckily I had one. It doesn't smell bad, in my opinion. However, it did not cover the gray at my temples, which isn't the main reason I purchased this, but still. At first it did, but after a few days they were back. The second thing I didn't like, is that there was no real transformation on my already blonde-ish hair that I could notice. I was light/medium brown underneath, with dark blonde everywhere else. My hair was definitely was a bit brighter and more blended from previous coloring, but after a week, I am definitely going to need a toner or something else after I give my hair a little break from chemicals. It's already fading, and it gave the darker parts underneath a bit of a bump, but nothing dramatic at all. I won't use this brand again.
